Which play surprised you most?

St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley broke loose for a huge 71-yard touchdown run, but was it good enough to be this week's top run?

What was your favorite play?
Kid Reporter Jake got the skinny with St. Louis Rams star WR Tavon Austin:

1. This offseason, your team acquired a new Quarterback in Nick Foles. As a Wide Receiver are there any adjustments you have to make when playing with a new Quarterback. If so, what are they?

There's definitely things that you have to go over with your quarterback. For number one, you've got to get on the same page as far as route running, how he likes certain things to be set up as far as depth on a route and things of that nature. There's definitely things you have to do as far as getting adjusted to your new quarterback.

2. In your 2 years in the NFL you have had many highlight reel plays. Which one, was your favorite and most memorable and why?

I would say my rookie year when I played against the Colts, just because it was the first game that I had three touchdowns in one game. That was my coming out party and everybody knew me from there. I was just blessed to have a good game, so that was probably my highlight reel of my two years.

3. The Rams had some big wins last year as a team, beating the Broncos and Seahawks and showed a lot of potential in a very tough division. With a new Quarterback, Running Back and a much improved defense what are your expectations for your team this year?

For me, I'm the type of person, I'm more of a week-by-week person. I don't really look forward to what the future holds and things of that nature because that's what it boils down to - the team that's in front of you. Every team's expectation is to go deep into the playoffs, win a majority of their games and eventually go to the Super Bowl. But for me and our team, I feel like we're going to take it one week at a time and get it done.

4. Now that it is your third year in the league what, is the biggest lesson you have learned throughout your time in the NFL?

My biggest lesson I'e learned is just being patient. You really can't rush anything and for me that was the hardest part, the mental part of the game. Just being there when they'e able to call you. You've got to be there when the time is available, so you've got to make a play when they call your name. So that's the biggest thing, just being patient and making great choices when your name is being called.

Poll: Seven Fabulous Facts
NFL football was awesome yesterday!

Last second wins, amazing catches, dazzling runs, big hits, and seven fabulous football factoids:
1) The Tennessee Titans defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 42-14. The game marks the first time in NFL history in which the top two picks in the NFL Draft -- Tampa Bay's JAMEIS WINSTON (No. 1) and Tennessee's MARCUS MARIOTA (No. 2) -- started at quarterback against one another in Week 1 of that season.

The combined ages of Winston and Mariota (43 years, 203 days) is the youngest for the starting quarterbacks in a game since the 1970 merger.
2) Tennessee's MARCUS MARIOTA completed 13 of 16 passes (81.3 percent) for 209 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 158.3 passer rating in the Titans win. He is the first rookie in NFL history to post a 158.3 passer rating on Kickoff Weekend(minimum 14 attempts), which is the highest attainable rating.

Mariota joined Pro Football Hall of Famer FRAN TARKENTON (1961) as the only rookies in NFL history to throw four touchdown passes on Kickoff Weekend. All four of Mariota's touchdown passes came in the first half and he is the only rookie in NFL history to throw four touchdown passes in one half.
3) The St. Louis Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks 34-31 in overtime. The game is the first season opener in NFL history in which both teams scored on a punt-return touchdown.

St. Louis' TAVON AUSTIN had a 75-yard punt-return touchdown and also added a 16-yard touchdown run. Austin is the fifth player in the past 20 years to score a touchdown on a punt return and a rush in the same game.

Seattle rookie TYLER LOCKETT had a 57-yard punt-return touchdown and is the first rookie to score a touchdown on his first career return on Kickoff Weekend since 2005 (San Francisco's OTIS AMEY).
4) Green Bay quarterback AARON RODGERS completed 78.3 percent of his passes (18 of 23) for 189 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions for a 140.5 passer rating in the Packers 31-23 win at Chicago. It marked Rodgers' third consecutive game against Chicago with at least three touchdown passes, no interceptions and a 140+ passer rating. He is the only quarterback in NFL history to throw at least three touchdowns with no interceptions and post a 140+ passer rating in three consecutive games against a single opponent. In fact, Rodgers has now accomplished the feat twice, having done so against Minnesota in 2010-11.

5) Buffalo wide receiver PERCY HARVIN had five catches for 79 yards, including a 51-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter, in the Bills 27-14 win against Indianapolis. Harvin and Pro Football Hall of Famer OLLIE MATSON are the only players in NFL history with at least four career 50-yard touchdown catches and three 100-yard kickoff-return touchdowns.

6) San Diego quarterback PHILIP RIVERS completed 35 of 42 passes (83.3 percent) for 404 yards and two touchdowns for a 102.8 passer rating in the Chargers 33-28 win against Detroit. Rivers now has 254 career touchdown passes, tying Pro Football Hall of Famer DAN FOUTS for the most in franchise history.

Chargers wide receiver KEENAN ALLEN had 15 catches (166 yards), which tied Pro Football Hall of Famer KELLEN WINSLOW (15 receptions on October 7, 1984 at Green Bay) for the franchise's single-game record for catches.

Allen's 15 catches are the most by a player on Kickoff Weekend since the 1970 merger.
7) Kansas City tight end TRAVIS KELCE had six catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs 27-20 win at Houston. Kelce joined TONY GONZALEZ as the only tight ends in franchise history with at least 100 receiving yards and two touchdown catches in a game. He is the only Kansas City tight end to accomplish the feat in a season opener.

I am looking forward to a very exciting game between the St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. Last year, the Rams were able to challenge the 49ers, even though they came up short. I am sure they will want to have the win from a division rival. Colin Kaepernick had a stellar year and he will be looking for another chance at going to the Playoffs. The Rams are looking for a very good year and Sam Bradford is healthy. Tavon Austin will need to catch some serious passes. The rest of the receivers will also need to make some amazing plays this year. The Rams offensive line should be stacked this year.My favorite rivalry to watch has always been the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears. To make the game fun you really need to have snow covering the field and a temperature well below freezing. Conditions like that prove that these guys are as tough as they get. Blowing snow is even greater because then they can't even pass and have to run the ball every time.

The Rams were my surprise team of Week 10. The reason why is because the Rams swept the Colts off their feet and scored an awesome victory. The score was 38-8 with Andrew Luck getting three sacks on him and three interceptions. The Rams seemed to rush him all game too. The Rams got more than 100 yards less than the Colts but, still the Rams came out with an amazing win. Tavon Austin had a breakout game and was able to get two touchdowns on offense and run back a punt for a 98 yard touchdo

Andrew Luck has been good at fourth quarter comebacks but the Rams defense was too strong for him. The Colts had to put Matt Hasselbeck in, who did not do much better and was responsible for one interception.

The stats don't show it, but the Rams defense was able to win the game. They managed to keep Andrew Luck out of the end zone and that was the key to the win.

The biggest Week 10 surprise to me was the Rams beating the Colts 38-8. A key player in that game was Tavon Austin with 3 touchdowns, finally doing what he does best. He returned 98 yard punt and with his break away speed no one on the colts could catch him. He also caught 2 touchdown passes from Kellen Clemens. This was a shock because the Rams haven't been having the best season they could have. Only 4-6 record and they have potential to do better with the threats they have on offense.
