NFL RUSH

Hey fans! I just wanted to show you how I get my PLAY 60. My town has a junior football league for 3rd and 4th grade. We practiced 3 days a week and then we would travel to other cities on Saturdays to play our game. Our coach always made sure we knew how important it was to exercise and stretch so you can make yourself stronger, while also preventing injuries. At halftime, we would always have oranges and water to refuel ourselves. Well, all the work we did sure paid off because we went 8-1 and we were the 2010 CHAMPIONS!!!!! Most importantly, we had fun, exercised, and I made a lot of new friends.

Hi all you NFL Rushers! I hope you enjoyed all of the excitement from Week 12. I loved watching my Charger defense handle Manning and company.

This week is important for the Chargers but I think Week 14 is probably the biggest game that they have remaining. In week 14, we play the AFC West leading Chiefs in our house. I am hoping that Denver can pull off a victory this weekend over the Chiefs. Then, next weekend would put us one game up in the division.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, because I did! I enjoyed feasting on turkey while tuning into the Patriots @ Lions game. Later on, I watched my home team, the Saints, have a magnificent showdown with the Cowboys.

If you look at the Saints schedule, you must say to yourself, "Hmm...What’s the most important game left?" Without doubt, the Monday Night game between the New Orleans Saints (8-3) vs. Atlanta Falcons (9-2) really pops out. With the Falcons leading the division by 1.5 games, the Saints have to beat the Falcons in that Monday Night game. Atlanta will also need to lose 1 other game to another team in order for the Saints to get the NFC Divisional Title. In my opinion, the Saints are the team-to-beat right now. We're getting healthier, Drew Brees is right on target, and our defense has really come together. I think, without doubt, the Saints can go all the way to the Super Bowl again. The only thing we need is home field advantage. If we have to go to Chicago or Philadelphia, typically cold places, we have a huge disadvantage. Anyway, the biggest game for the Saints will be the December 27th battle against the Falcons. That is all for today, have fun watching your Week 13 games!

Hi all you NFL Rushers! First of all, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Did you all enjoy your Week 11 Games?

Week 12 will be an exciting one but I think the best game will happen on Sunday Night in Indy. The Chargers will be taking on the Colts with a national TV audience. The Chargers are peeking at the right time. With Vincent Jackson back, and hopefully Antonio Gates back from injury, it will be a great game. I really thought it was funny on MNF when Jaws (I think) said “I'm the Indianapolis Colts I am worried about the Chargers”. I just hope they keep this momentum going and they get the win.

Happy Thanksgiving and Go Chargers!!!

I was born in the same town that my Mom and Dad were born in, which is La Mesa, California. La Mesa is very close to San Diego. Because we still live in the city that we were all born and raised in, most of our family is in San Diego. Every Thanksgiving, we eat together and our favorite thing to watch on TV is football. This year, I am very excited to watch the New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals game. LT is now with the Jets and he's having a great season with them. Even though I am sad that he is no longer with the Chargers, he still is a favorite of mine. Maybe one day the Chargers will get to play on Thanksgiving so me and my family could watch them play on Thanksgiving day.

Hey NFL Nation!

Wow! This has been one crazy year, hasn't it? Well there is one game that should make this season even crazier. That game is the New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts game at 4:15 on Sunday. This is going to be a high scoring game with a lot of highlights from both of these future-hall-of-fame quarterbacks. It is going to be a shootout that you won't want to miss. Trust me. Well sorry to cut this short, but I got to go! Bye! Hope your teams do well this week!

Till next week,

I think the team MVP of the Philadelphia Eagles should be their quarterback, Michael Vick. Vick has played well all season, throwing 11 touchdowns, and has still not thrown an interception in the 6 games he has played. Vick has a passing rating of 115.1, one of the highest in the NFL so far this year. Vick has 1,350 yards passing with 11 touchdowns and 341 yards rushing with 4 touchdowns this season. Vick's best game this year was his most recent game against the Washington Redskins in week 10. He had 330 yards passing with 4 touchdowns and 80 yards rushing with 2 touchdowns. I think that if Vick can play like that in every game this season, he will be the league's MVP. Vick has led the Eagles to a 6-3 record. The Eagles are tied for 1st in the NFC East with the Giants, who the Eagles will play against in Week 11.

Hey NFL Rushers!! I hope you had a great week of football. I certainly did!! I am going to recap my top games from week 10. We had an exciting week!

1. Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants: The Cowboys won! This team is turning things around under Jason Garrett's guidance. The players obviously respect him and want to play well for him. They got the run game involved and the pass game did great. The Cowboys finally showed up to play. Big plays were everywhere for the Cowboys. If the cowboys continue to do what they did against the Giants they can have a winning season.

2. Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Redskins: I was able to see some of this game and I loved every minute of it. Michael Vick was amazing with 57 fantasy points! I picked him and I advise you to pick him also. The Eagles will have no trouble making the playoffs if they continue to play like this.

3. Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars: What a finish! I have never seen anything like that in my whole life!! If you saw the highlights for that game, you know what I am talking about. For those of you who didn't, you should check it out. The game was tied 24-24 with 3 seconds left on the clock. The last play of the game was a hail Mary to the end-zone and the Texans Cornerback batted the ball right into the hands of Mike Thomas for the Touchdown! The Jaguars win!!

4. St. Louis @ San Francisco: This game was a toss-up and San Fran got the field goal to win it in overtime. It was close the entire time and kept you on the edge of your seat. The two QBs were pretty good. Sam Bradford vs. Troy Smith. Troy Smith started for the first time this year last week and is 2-0 so far. This was a game between two teams that won't do much this season but turned out to be pretty good.

5. New York Jets @ Cleveland Browns: I would have liked to seen this game but it wasn't on here. The Browns new Quarterback is Colt McCoy and I love what he is doing with the team. He is getting the perfect amount of passes each game and has played four games. Those four games have been against the Steelers, the Saints, the Patriots, and the Jets. I expect great things from Colt this year and the rest of his career.

Thanks for reading! Which games did you enjoy most from week 10? Go Cowboys!

Hey fans! I hope everyone else is going crazy watching the NFL games this year like I am. The injuries are starting to really hurt the Colts. However, with Peyton as QB, it’s cool to watch him take transform new player. Peyton sticks him on the field and boom…you are hearing about a new amazing player for the Colts. So far, my MVP player for my team has to be Peyton Manning. They are still pulling out wins without some of the top receivers and their tight-end. It's the whole attitude of the team that makes them fun to watch.

Get ready for Super Bowl XLV and a half! Although this makes no mathematical sense, the meaning is clear: two of the great teams in the AFC are coming together in the Patriots vs. Colts matchup. This looks to be the best game of the week! Let's preview both teams:

PATRIOTS:

New England has the most productive offense in the NFL in terms of points scored, averaging 29 points per game. Their defense is ranked 24th in points allowed. If the Patriots defense can hold off the Indy offense, then they win.

COLTS:

Indy scores 27 points per game, but their defense is ranked 11th in points allowed. If the Colts defense can get pressure on the New England offense, then the Colts will win.

I pick. . . New England to win this game 28-24.

Who do you think will win? Shout and tell me what you think!

My fantasy pick for week 11 is Michael Vick. If you didn't see the game on Monday, you missed a great one. The Eagles crushed the Redskins by a score of 59 to 28. They broke an all time NFL record by being the only visiting team to lead by 28 points in the first quarter.

In addition to throwing four TDs for 333 yards, Vick ran for 80 yards and scored another two TDs on the ground. He can't be stopped, which is why I'm picking him as my top pick for a second straight week.

Thanks for reading and don't forget to Back-the-Pack.

Want to hear about someone to pick for your fantasy football team? Here are a few clues: fast, football smart, good in the pocket, strong arm, and had an amazing game when he played the Washington Redskins. Did you figure it out? Yup, it's Michael Vick (who I predicted in Week 4 to have a great season).

Last week, he earned me 57 points in NFLRUSH Fantasy. Wow! Vick had 20 completions on 28 throws, with no picks. He threw for 333 yards and four passing TDs. Now, let’s talk about his rushing stats. Vick had 8 rushing attempts for 80 yards. That's 10 yards per carry. Not too shabby for a quarterback. He even had two rushing touchdowns. Michael Vick has the second most rushing yards by an NFL QB. Only Randall Cunningham, also a former Eagle, has more. Vick is the QB you'll want to put on your fantasy football player radar. He's having a great 2010 season and helping fantasy players rack up major points!

My team's MVP is Philip Rivers. Philip Rivers is turning into a top QB in the NFL. Philip Rivers has a quarterback rating of 102.9, which is one of the highest ratings in the NFL. He has passed for 2,944 yards, 19 touchdowns, and has only 8 interceptions this season. Rivers is on track to break the NFL's season passing record set by Dan Marino. Philip Rivers has done all of this without top receivers Malcom Floyd, Antonio Gates, Legedu Naanee, and Vincent Jackson during parts of the season. Philip Rivers should play even better after their bye week, when the Chargers get healthy at receiver. Philip Rivers is no doubt my team's MVP, and might end up as NFL MVP if he keeps playing great. Go Chargers!

Hey NFLRUSHERS,

This week I'm going to talk to you about who my fantasy MVP is for the week.

I was hoping that all of my players would do well this week and most of them did. My best pick was Matt Schaub. He earned me 25 points alone and he was an overall great player. He must have been crushed when he saw David Garrard get that touchdown with no time left. I think it was just a lucky throw and he'll never have another week like that ever again.

Well that's all I have for this week NFL RUSHERS.

The week 11 game that I think will be best is the Colts vs. Patriots. It features 2 of the best quarterbacks ever. It also features 2 decent running backs and 2 great receivers. Each team is 100% healthy and good to go. The one thing that Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have to look out for is the defensive line. Each team has a good defense. The Colts defensive line is led by Dwight Freeney and the Patriots is led by Vince Wilfork.

Super Bowl XLIV

I was just thinking about the Jets and who their most valuable player has been thus far. Braylon Edwards has been the best wide receiver this year but has had some holding penalties on long runs that set the Jets back. Jerricho Cotchery has had a lot of great catches. During week 9’s game, he was hurt in the middle of a play but still made a diving catch. What a hustle! LaDanian Tomlinson was a great runner in the first few games but has not been as explosive recently. Santonio Holmes has been a consistent receiver this season. He caught two game-winning passes on the same route in 2 different games, one versus Cleveland and the other against the Lions.

All of these players have played well, but I still think that Mark Sanchez is my pick for Jets MVP. In his last game, he threw for 299 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had 1 interception but it ended up pinning Cleveland at their own 3 yard line. It gave the Jets great field position for their next possession that set up the win. He has been an amazing player and a true leader of the team.

The New York Giants, that's who! Some may say it is too good to be BLUE. Coming off a horrible game to the Cowboys, the Giants need to get their game on. Don't count them out. Remember, when Manning is under pressure, he comes out on top. Anyone Remember Super Bowl XLII? It will be a tough game against their rival Eagles. Michael Vick had record breaking stats last week. He hasn't thrown an interception or lost a fumble this season. However, the Giants are motivated, which will make it the best game for week 11!

G-Men get your game on and win the Crown for the NFC East or win the Wild Card!

The best game in week 9 was Minnesota vs. Arizona. Minnesota won in OT, by the score of 27-24. This gives them a chance to still make the playoffs. It was an exciting game and it had a great finish by the Vikings. Ryan Longwell kicked the game winning field goal for Minnesota in OT. Brett Favre passed for a career high 446 yards in the win. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota's best running back, ran for 15 carries and 81 yards and he scored 1 TD. Derek Anderson passed for 179 yards and 1 TD for the Cardinals. Larry Fitzgerald, their best wide receiver, had 7 catches for 107 yards.

[kidsignature userid="788728"]
[rotateframe seconds="30"]
The top fantasy pick for week 10 on my list is Michael Vick. He was the best QB earlier this season until he got hurt. He has good wide receivers to pass to and he can run the ball better than a lot of starting running backs. I thought his injury might change the way he plays, but after last week, it looks like he's running like normal. A big factor in making him a great pick for this week is that he will be playing against Washington. Washington ranks 31st in the league, giving up an average of 280.9 yards per game.

Hillis dominated for the Browns and Fantasy players this week in the NFL. The Browns now have a win over the last one-loss NFL team. The Patriots were shaken down hard by the Browns, who are on roll! I never thought the Browns were going to be such a contender this year!

I think the NFC South will have the closest battle for a playoff spot. The NFC South includes the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints, who have a 6-2 record, the Atlanta Falcons, who are first place in the division with a 6-2 record, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are having a surprising season with a 5-3 record. The only team in the NFC South that is not competing for a playoff spot is the Carolina Panthers who are 1-7. I think the Atlanta Falcons will win the NFC South. The Falcons have a great offense with QB and WR duo Matt Ryan and Roddy White. Falcons' RB Michael Turner is 8th in the league in rushing with 694 yards in 155 rushing attempts and with 5 TDs. The Falcons' offense also has TE Tony Gonzalez who has 37 receptions and 3 TDs.  The Falcons' defense has DE John Abram who leads the team in sacks with 6.

If you didn't think that the Jets vs. Lions was the best game from Week 9, it definitely was the most unpredictable!!! I thought it was pretty exciting for Lions fans since there was a glimmer of hope that the Lions could pull off a win. Unfortunately, injuries continue to plague the Lions. The Lions lost quarterback Matthew Stafford again, and he may be done for the season. The Lions also had kicker Jason Hanson injured in the game.

This injury led to the wildest play call of the game. Ndamukong Suh, the Lions 307 pound defensive lineman, was sent in to kick the point after a touchdown. He lined up, kicked, and hit the right side upright. So close, but no good. Little did we know then how much that 1 point would matter in this game. The score could have been 21-17, a Lions win. The game ended up in overtime and the Jets pulled off the win, 23-20. Crazy!

The best game from Week 9 was the Chiefs @ Raiders. It was a close game and it was exciting down to the last minute. The score was 20-23, which is the score that a lot of games are ending in this season. I was disappointed that the Raiders won since they are the Chargers’ rivals. The Chargers better take back their winning streak when the Raiders visit San Diego.

Last week's installment of Monday Night Football (Bengals vs. Steelers in an intense division rivalry) left me with an afterthought: What division will have the closest run to the playoffs this year? To do this justice, I will pick one division from the AFC and NFC, respectively.

CLOSEST DIVISION IN THE AFC: AFC South. It's surprising to see that all of the teams in one division are at/over .500, especially in a very competitive one like the AFC South. This will be fun to watch later in the season. Indy has typically run away with it in years past. Will that change?

CLOSEST DIVISION IN THE NFC: NFC South. No, I'm not biased for the south. Oftentimes, the south is where the best football will be found, from the defending champion Saints, to the Falcons, to the upstart Buccaneers. Carolina has had a tough year. Could they turn it around like last year's Titans?

Hey NFL Rushers! I think the Jets vs. Lions game was the best game of week 9. It was exciting because it was close the whole game, with the Lions leading. The Jets scored 10 points in the last 2 minutes and 46 seconds. This forced the game into overtime. On the first drive of overtime, Nick Folk kicked a 30 yard field goal that was set up by a 52 yard catch and run by Santonio Holmes. The Jets won with a final score of 23 - 20. The Jets (6-2) have won six of their last seven games and have not lost on the road. The Jets are looking really great mid-season. I hope the winning streak keeps going!
