Even though Nick Foles may look intimidating on the field, off the field he's really just a big kid. His favorite animated movie is The Lion King. His favorite cartoon character is Scooby Doo. And his favorite book is Where The Red Fern Grows.

What's your favorite book?

Kid Reporter Jake got the skinny with St. Louis Rams star WR Tavon Austin:

1. This offseason, your team acquired a new Quarterback in Nick Foles. As a Wide Receiver are there any adjustments you have to make when playing with a new Quarterback. If so, what are they?

There's definitely things that you have to go over with your quarterback. For number one, you've got to get on the same page as far as route running, how he likes certain things to be set up as far as depth on a route and things of that nature. There's definitely things you have to do as far as getting adjusted to your new quarterback.

2. In your 2 years in the NFL you have had many highlight reel plays. Which one, was your favorite and most memorable and why?

I would say my rookie year when I played against the Colts, just because it was the first game that I had three touchdowns in one game. That was my coming out party and everybody knew me from there. I was just blessed to have a good game, so that was probably my highlight reel of my two years.

3. The Rams had some big wins last year as a team, beating the Broncos and Seahawks and showed a lot of potential in a very tough division. With a new Quarterback, Running Back and a much improved defense what are your expectations for your team this year?

For me, I'm the type of person, I'm more of a week-by-week person. I don't really look forward to what the future holds and things of that nature because that's what it boils down to - the team that's in front of you. Every team's expectation is to go deep into the playoffs, win a majority of their games and eventually go to the Super Bowl. But for me and our team, I feel like we're going to take it one week at a time and get it done.

4. Now that it is your third year in the league what, is the biggest lesson you have learned throughout your time in the NFL?

My biggest lesson I'e learned is just being patient. You really can't rush anything and for me that was the hardest part, the mental part of the game. Just being there when they'e able to call you. You've got to be there when the time is available, so you've got to make a play when they call your name. So that's the biggest thing, just being patient and making great choices when your name is being called.

What do you think? Are you going to play Tavon Austin on your NFL RUSH Fantasy Football team?

What's that? We get a Saturday NFL game today?

No? We get TWO Saturday NFL games today?

WOO HOO!!!!!

The Philadelphia Eagles play the Washington Redskins in a huge NFC East battle. Nick Foles, LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin; Kirk Cousins, Alfred Morris, DeSean Jackson...yeah this is going to be good.

And then in a California contest, the San Diego Chargers face the San Francisco 49ers. Philip Rivers and Colin Kaepernick; Branden Oliver and Frank Gore; Keenan Allen and Anquan Boldin. Yowzai!

REMEMBER TO SET YOUR FANTASY LINE-UP.

And don't forget to make your Pick Em picks.

And be good...Santa's watching ;-)

The New York Jets have been disappointing this season but still have hope to improve in 2015. And that improvement starts at the quarterback position. Geno Smith has underachieved this year forcing impatient New Yorkers to give up on him. Michael Vick has played well with 3 touchdowns and only 1 interception but he might not be a long- term answer because he is 34 years old. So that raises the question of what do the Jets do at quarterback next year? Below are the quarterback options in 2015 to help the Jets end their playoff drought. Free Agents- There aren't a lot of quarterbacks in this years free agent class but the Jets could use an experienced player. An interesting option could be Brain Hoyer who is having a great year but may not stay in Cleveland because of Johnny Manziel. Another option could be Mark Sanchez. Yes it is crazy, but Sanchez is playing well and could be ready for a return to New York with Nick Foles coming back. He looks more confident but it is a reach. Draft- If the Jets continue losing they could easily end up with a top 5 if not top 3 pick in the draft. The top QB in the draft is Marcus Mariota. He has had a great season and could bring winning and skill to the Jets. He is also a strong leader. Another top quarterback is obviously Jameis Winston. The Heisman Trophy and National Championship winner from last year has a lot of talent but has concerns. His off the field issues won't be very appealing to John Idzik the Jets general manager, if Idzik remains in the job. But yet again who knows if they'll even draft a quarterback with John Idzik there. Trade- This is the least likely to happen of the three. But there is a possibility that Jay Cutler could leave Chicago. He has disappointed after a $100 million deal. The Jets have a lot of cap room to deal with the expense and it could help kick start the offense. My prediction- Whoever the Jets decide to go after, the one goal is to improve and I think they will do so. I think they will re-sign Michael Vick, release Geno Smith and trade up to draft Marcus Mariota. They will use Vick to mentor Mariota and help to get the Jets back into the playoffs.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles throws a ball to wide receiver Jordan Matthews in the back of the end zone but he does not come down in bounds as the Arizona Cardinals escape with a 24-20 victory.
Week 8 Game to Watch- Philadelphia Eagles (5-1) at Arizona Cardinals (5-1) Offenses: Chip Kelly's speedy Eagles offense has been a success since he arrived, but it may have slown down a bit this season. Quarterback Nick Foles has more turnovers (11) than touchdowns (10) after throwing 27 touchdowns and 2 picks in 2013. Running back LeSean McCoy has also had a down year, rushing for only 422 yards and 1 touchdown. Jeremy Maclin has stepped into the main role as a receiver and Jordan Matthews has flashed potential. Arizona has a very dangerous offense now that Carson Palmer is back. Receivers Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald have had strong years despite Palmer missing most of the season. Andre Ellington has been electric in the last three games, with 160 yards from scrimmage last week and 144 against Denver. The Cardinals quarterbacks have only thrown one interception so far this season. Advantage: Philadelphia may have better numbers, but with Carson Palmer healthy and Andre Ellington emerging as a playmaker in the air and ground game, the Cardinals will be the offense to watch. Defense and Special Teams: Arizona was expected to have an average offense and a great defense. Philadelphia was expected to have a good offense and a bad defense. Both of the teams have been surprising and the expectations have contrasted with reality. The Cardinals defense lost John Abraham, Daryl Washington, and Darnell Dockett for the season and are 31st in passing yards allowed. The Eagles are 23rd in both passing yards allowed and rushing yards allowed but have scored a staggering number of special teams and defensive touchdowns (1 punt return touchdown, 1 kick return touchdown, 1 pick-6, and 2 fumble return touchdowns). Arizona kicker Chandler Catanzo is 15 for 15 for field goal attempts, going 6 for 6 in field goals over 40 yards. Advantage: Arizona still has the defensive advantage; they have only allowed 1 team, the Denver Broncos, to score over 25 points. No team has allowed fewer rushing yards than Arizona (72.5), which will be a key factor with LeSean McCoy in the Philly lineup. Matchup to Watch: LeSean McCoy vs. Arizona Defense- The Eagles will need to get LeSean McCoy and the running game going. That will be tough for them, as the Cardinals are the best team in the NFL for run defense. McCoy was held to 17 yards on 10 carries in the 26-21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Prediction- Arizona 23, Philadelphia 21- Chandler Catanzo nails a 40 yard field goal as time expires for a comeback win for the Cards. Carson Palmer has a big day, throwing for 270 yards and two touchdowns while Andre Ellington has over 120 total yards. After Nick Foles gets the Eagles to a halftime lead, LeSean McCoy and the ground game are stopped and Foles throws a pair of second half interceptions.
