Poll: Training Camp Rising Stars

How are the hot rookies doing so far? Turns out...not too badly. It's going to be great watching these guys this season!

Teddy Bridgewater, QB - Minnesota Vikings
The initial plan was to slowly develop Bridgewater, but the rumblings from the Vikings camp is that the kid is coming along more quickly than expected. Might he be the week one starter? Stay tuned.

Brandin Cook, WR - New Orleans Saints
It's looking more and more like Cook's blinding speed could be just what the Saints need to go marching in.

Johnny Manziel, QB - Cleveland Browns
Manziel has made steady progress and he's currently neck and neck with veteran Brian Hoyer in the battle to be the Browns starting QB.

Sammy Watkins, WR - Buffalo Bills
The Watkins legend seems to grow every day as he's turning the Bills camp into a personal highlight reel with his speed and amazing catches.

James White, RB - New England Patriots
When Tom Brady singles out a rookie for praise, like he did of James White, you are having a real good camp.

Andre Williams, RB, New York Giants
Williams opened camp buried on the depth chart, but it's looking more and more like he's going to get a shot to show what he's got.

Poll. Which of these sleepers will have the best fantasy numbers?

Okay, so the 2014 NFL Draft is over and teams are preparing for the start of the new season. This is not the time for you to relax, not if you plan to dominate your NFL RUSH Fantasy Football league this year.

We all know the big name rookies but what about the under-the-radar sleepers who might emerge this year?

Keep an eye on these guys and you’ll be able to get a jump on everyone else!

Donte Moncrief, WR - Indianapolis Colts

With Andrew Luck slinging the ball, there’s always opportunity for a talented young receiver to emerge. Moncrief is a super athlete who has the size and speed to develop into a starter.

James White, RB – New England Patriots

The Patriots give young players a chance to show what they can do early in their careers. LeGarrette Blount’s departure via free agency opens the door for White to step in and make plays.

Andre Williams, RB – New York Giants

Although Williams wasn't selected until the fourth round, he had a terrific college career in which he ran for 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2013. The Giants signed free agent Rashad Jennings in the offseason, but if Williams can show enough in training camp don’t be surprised to see him getting the rock.

Jace Amaro, TE – New York Jets

To say Amaro has good hands is a big understatement. He set the FBS record for receiving yards in a season (1,352) by a TE. The Jets young QB, Geno Smith, was hampered last season by a lack of weapons. Sounds like a pretty good opportunity to us.

Terrance West, RB – Cleveland Browns

You never know about rookies from smaller schools. That being said, West destroyed opponents on way to a monster season last year (2,509 yards and 41 touchdowns). He’s got the size speed and skills needed to be a star.

Poll. Draft smack: which rival had the better draft?

New England Patriots vs. New York Jets

The games between these two AFC East rivals are some of the best games each season. The Patriots have had more success for a while now but an awesome draft could put the Jets right back in it.

Vote below and tell us in the comments which of these teams helped themselves more in this year’s NFL Draft.

New England Patriots Draft Highlights

The Patriots scored one of the premiere interior pass rushers in the draft by taking DT Dominique Easley

Then they made the surprise selection of small-school QB Jimmy Garoppolo in the second round. Is he now the heir-apparent to Tom Brady?

RB James White will look to fill the void left by the departure of LeGarrette Blount, while C Bryan Stork and OT Cameron Fleming add depth to the offensive line.

New York Jets Draft Highlights

The Jets first pick, hard-hitting S Calvin Pryor, seems like a perfect fit for Rex Ryan's defense. The Jets showed they are serious about their defense by adding CBs Dexter McDougle and Brandon Dixon as well.

The best addition to the offense is pass-catching sensation TE Jace Amaro, who combined with Jalen SaundersShaq Evans and Quincy Enunwa should help QB Geno Smith.

Poll. What grade would you give the New England Patriots draft?

In the NFL, if you can't pressure the opposing QB, you are going to lose.

The Patriots were smart to get a premiere interior pass rusher, DT Dominique Easley. They then made the surprise selection of QB Jimmy Garoppolo in the second round, which raises questions about Ryan Mallett's future.

RB James White will look to fill the void left by the departure of LeGarrette Blount, while C Bryan Stork and OT Cameron Fleming add depth to the offensive line.
