Sure Batman and Robin are pretty good crimefighters but they are powerless against likes of Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas.

Is there a dynamic duo out there who can stop these awesome offensive weapons?

There is, and they are Jets Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie.

This year the Jets rebooted their team and that started with free agency. From Darrelle Revis to Brandon Marshall, the Jets have been making a big splash in the free agency market. Here are my grades for the Jets free agency.

Darrelle Revis - After being away from the Jets for two seasons they brought him back. The Jets really needed help in the secondary, so they got the best in the league. I think this is a great move because he is very talented and this move has the fans excited. My grade: A+

Brandon Marshall - The Jets got a steal. They only gave up a 5th round pick to replace the expensive receiver Percy Harvin with a 5-time Pro Bowler, Marshall. This move now makes the Jets receivers lethal and saves them money. My grade: A

Antonio Cromartie - Like Revis, Cromartie is a former Jet cornerback and played beside Revis to make a very good tandem. Last year he made the Pro Bowl with the Arizona Cardinals. In addition, Todd Bowles, the former Cardinals Defensive Coordinator, is now the head coach of the Jets, giving Cromartie a reunion with Bowles and the Jets. The only potential cause for concern is his age, as he turns 31 next month. Revis is also about to turn 30, but he is the best in the league, Based on the last few years, however, Cromartie can still play. My grade: B+

Ryan Fitzpatrick - The Jets made a trade to get Fitzpatrick for a conditional pick, so if he plays well enough, they owe the Texans a low draft pick. This instantly improves the quarterback position and provides competition for Geno Smith. He is also familiar with Chan Gailey the offensive coordinator for the Jets. The 32-year old Fitzpatrick quietly put up a 95.3 passer rating last season which is very good. My grade: B-

Buster Skrine - He is not a very familiar name to most people but Skrine, a cornerback is now added to this very strong secondary. Last season he had 4 interceptions and 18 passes defended and will certainly add to the Jets already deep defense. My grade: B

All of these moves on paper look to benefit the Jets, but I think the result will be the Jets improving to an 8-8 record in 2015 with a new era only just beginning.

Read Jake's report from the Seahawks media day.

About 15 minutes before the Patriots' Media Session started it became very crowded with media. The reporters stood almost shoulder to shoulder. The Patriots had Gronk, Vince Wilfork, Darrelle Revis, Tom Brady, and Bill Belichick as their main five people in the middle at podiums. On my way to Legarrette Blount's podium, I stopped to take a picture and talk with the guys from Dude Perfect who were there making a video for their YouTube channel. They were nice, funny, and cool in person.

At about 10:30 the Patriots Media Day was finally underway. As I pushed through the crowd to get to Legarrette Blount, I realized Steeler's Defensive End Brett Keisel was right next to me! I said, "You are the only guy I wouldn't try and push out of the way!" He laughed and we started talking. He was there reporting for Head and Shoulders and he asked me if I ever wanted to grow a beard. I told him I don't even have a mustache yet! He was so helpful throughout the day helping me navigate through the crowds and get to the podiums of the big name players.

After asking questions to Legarratte Blount and Brandon Browner, I decided it was time to take a swing for the fences. I made my way through the swarm of reporters and cameras to the front of Bill Belichick's podium. After what seemed like forever, I was finally called on. I asked, "With all the distractions how has this been a challenge to prepare your team this week?" He gave me a classic Bill Belichick answer, "We are only worried about the Seahawks right now."

At Media Day, each team gets an hour for their media session. With 15 minutes left to go after the Belichick question, I tried to fight my way through the crowd of reporters to get to Tom Brady's podium. I finally made it to the front of his podium with 7 minutes left in the session. For 7 minutes, I called out to Tom Brady and for 7 minutes, those calls went unanswered. The session wrapped up and there was a 45 minute break before it was the Seahawks turn.
