Hi everyone! The NFL Draft is over, and that means the regular season is closer! I believe the biggest surprise of the draft was the No. 3 pick, when the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Blake Bortles. It was shocking for many reasons, but two main reasons why it was shocking is, 1. He was taken before Johnny Manziel, and 2. The Jaguars just extended QB Chad Henne's contract. Maybe they didn't take Manziel because he was only in his first year of college, and they thought he was to young. They may have wanted a more matured QB. The reason I say it was shocking for Bortles to go to Jacksonville after they extended Chad Hennes contract is because I thought they were committed to him. I thought thats why they extended his contract, so he would start. Now, Jacksonville has a QB war on their hands.
Hi everyone! We are about a month into free agency and there have been some big signings. Eric Decker to the Jets, Maurice-Jones Drew to the Raiders, Desean Jackson to the Redskins. So many! I think the most obvious move was making sure they sign offensive linemen. They signed a few including former Kansas City Chiefs offensive linemen, Branden Albert. They also signed, (CB) Cortland Finnegan, re-signed (CB) Brent Grimes, and one of my favorites, signed (RB) Knowshon Moreno. I think they have done very well in signing free agents this year and I believe they will do very well next season.
Where the Broncos fans at? Probably predicting how bad the Seahawks are gonna lose. I am predicting a close game with the Broncos winning it, 35-28. I think Peyton Manning will throw three touchdowns and two interceptions while Russel Wilson will throw two touchdowns and one interception. I like the match up though, best ranked offense against the best ranked defense. Tell us who you think will win in the comment section.
The Dolphins let go Offensive Coordinator Mike Sherman. To replace him, the Dolphins brought in Eagles QB Coach Bill Lazor. Bill Lazor was key in the Development of Eagles QB Nick Fole, who had an outstanding record-breaking year. Hopefully this will be good for the Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill and his development into an elite QB. Will the Dolphins do good? Will the Dolphins get to the playoffs? Tell us in the comment section!
Well the playoffs are very close and I am nervous. WHO WILL TAKE THE 6TH SEED IN THE AFC PLAYOFFS!!!!! I hope the Dolphins (sorry Ravens fans.) Well here is my fantasy roster for the playoffs.
QB: Peyton Manning. He is a strong player that has gotten pretty good fantasy points throughout the year.
RB: Marshawn Lynch. He has been okay throughout the year.
WR: Wes Welker. He is a very good receiver for Peyton Mannings awesomeness. He has been okay throughout the year.
TE: Jimmy Graham. He and Drew Brees go together like peanut butter and jelly. Fantastic! Lots of points for your fantasy.
Defense: Seahawks. Very good defense and will get lots of points.
Wild Card: Drew Brees. I believe he is a very good play maker and will get a chunk of points.
Well I hope I helped a little bit.
These are my picks for Week 14. The teams that I believe will win are capitalized.
TEXANS:Jaguars. I believe that the Texans are ready to break their 10 game losing streak and win this game.
RAVENS:Vikings. I think that the Ravens will come into this game pumed up, and ready to play. The Vikings are coming off a big overtime win, but will lose this game.
COLTS: Bengals. Both teams are great. They are both 8-4. 1 team will go 9-4. That will be the Indianapolis Colts. They have lost to some easy teams, but they will play hard and wear out the Bengals.
PATRIOTS:Browns. The Patriots have the better team in this situation. Josh Gordon is on a roll but besides that, they don't have much
JETS:Raiders. I had a tough time deciding this one. But, the Jets will win this one. It will be a very close game though.
EAGLES:Lions. Eagles are on a roll. Nick Foles has not thrown an interception this season. Their receivers are playing great. They will win this tough game.
DOLPHINS:Steelers. The Dolphins will have a tough game. Hopefully the team is distracted by the Mike Tomlin incident last Thursday. The Dolphins will come away with the win this week.
BUCCANEERS: Bills. The Buccaneers suffered a tough loss last week. But they get over it and win this tough match up.
CHIEFS: Redskins. The Chiefs have lost 3 in a row. The Redskins have lost 4 in a row. The Chiefs will break their streak and win this week.
PACKERS: Falcons. The Packers are striving to win a game. The loss of Aaron Rodgers has been a huge affect, and we all have seen it. But the Packers may have Aaron Rodgers back, and may win this game.
BRONCOS: Titans. The Broncos came up with a big win last week facing the Chiefs. They will make sure not to win another game and to do that, they have to win this game.
CARDINALS:Rams. Will be a close game. I had a hard decision picking this game. The Cardinals will win this one though.
GIANTS: Chargers. The Giants are coming off with a strong win. The Chargers, are coming off of a devastating lose. The Giants will practice hard and win this week.
SEAHAWKS:49ers. The Seahawks have been outstanding this year! 11-1 record! The 49er are doing good, but not as well. Seahawks are the champions of this game.
SAINTS: Panthers. Both teams are doing good this season.I think that the Saints will come off of a very rough loss and beat the Panthers.
COWBOYS: Bears. The Cowboys did their job last week, while the Bears did not. The Bears have lost to some easy teams this year. The Cowboys have fought to the end of every game. Cowboys win this week.
Last week: 13-3 Season:17-15.

Hi everyone! Here are my picks for week 12, The teams that I think will win are capitalized:
VIKINGS-packers (upset game)
BRONCOS-patriots (upset game)
Nick Foles and Case Keenum are here, and they are here to stay. It is obvious that they are the answer to the problems and recent woes of their respective teams. They have both done an excellent job as they have taken over the starting quarterback job on their teams. Nick Foles got to take over for an injured Michael Vick, and Case Keenum is just the best remaining quarterback on the Texans.
Nick Foles has taken over the starting job in Philadelphia. There is no way that Chip Kelly should go back to Vick even if he becomes healthy. It is obvious that Foles is the quarterback of the future and possibly even now. Last weekend, we witnessed one of the greatest performances by a quarterback that we have ever seen. He threw for over 400 yards and 7 touchdown passes. Another quarterback that threw for 7 touchdown passes recently is Peyton Manning. Could Foles be the next Manning? Probably not, but he is going to be good. Foles' great performance is just the beginning of possible greatness. He may not do that every week, but he will put up good games.
Another quarterback that is the new starter in Houston, Case Keenum. He has taken over for Matt Schaub and T.J. Yates. He was the third string quarterback and got his chance when Matt Schaub got hurt, and Gary Kubiak decided to give Keenum the job over Yates. He snapped the pick-six streak the Texans had going and has finally been able to throw a 25+ yard pass. He has also thrown touchdown passes, something the Texans have not had in awhile. In his last game against the Colts, he had 350+ yards and 3 touchdowns. He has emerged as a good quarterback who has lots of potential. I think that he is definitely the starter for the rest of the year, and possibly years to come.
Thanks for reading. Let me know who you think is the best quarterback in the comments.
This year, the Pro Bowl is going to be a little different. Just a brief recap of the new format: Two legendary players, Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice are going to draft teams out of players that we vote to the Pro Bowl. They are going to draft not even caring about conference or team - it will just be about the players in it. After that, we can finally see a rejuvenated Pro Bowl. I think that it is a lot better to be unconferenced with teammates going against each other. I think that it is also cool that the two leading vote getters will be captains for each of the teams.
My ballot is a little biased because I am a Texans fan, but this my current ballot for some of the important positions:
QB- Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo, Phillip Rivers, Matt Stafford, and Drew Brees
RB- Arian Foster, LeSean McCoy, Marshawn Lynch, Matt Forte, Jamaal Charles, Knowshon Moreno
WR- Victor Cruz, Eric Decker, A.J. Green, Dez Bryant, DeSean Jackson, Andre Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Torrey Smith
TE- Jordan Cameron, Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham, Julius Thomas
DE- Chandler Jones, Jordan Cameron, Shaun Phillips, J.J. Watt, Mario Williams, Muhammad Wilkerson
Linebacker- Kiko Alonso, James Laurenitis, Sean Lee, Paul Pouslunzy, Tamba Hali, Justin Houston, Ryan Kerrigan, Whitney Mercillus, Robert Mathis, Terrel Suggs
Cornerback-Brandon Carr, Tim Jennings, Kareem Jackson, Jonathan Joseph, Richard Sherman, Aqib Talib, Charles Tillman, Alterraun Verner,
Safety- T.J. Ward, Major Wright, Eric Reid, Earl Thomas
Now that you have seen my ballot, I want to do some explaining of my ballot. You are probably wondering why Tom Brady isn't on my ballot. I just don't think that he has been one of the top six quarterbacks this year. I think that he will make it because of popularity. I think that he might be able to make it onto my weekly ballot if he can step it up for the rest of the year.
I think that Andrew Luck isn't on there because he just doesn't have the stats. I want to put him on there, but I need to see some performance the rest of the year.
I think that Frank Gore deserved a spot, but he just didn't have enough room. He can earn his way on if Arian Foster is out for awhile.
Someone who may be a surprise on my ballot is Torrey Smith. He has been average on the Ravens offense, but has tallied 629 yards, and has been a great go-to man on a dysfunctional Ravens receiving corp.
Now that you know my ballot, I want your opinion on what you think of it. I also want to know what I messed up on and what I got right. Also, who do you have on your ballot? Tell me in the comments, and let's keep looking forward to the new look 2014 Pro Bowl.
Right now the worst division in all of football is the NFC East. There really isn't a great team. Right now the Cowboys are decent sitting at 3-3, the Eagles tied with them at 3-3 as well. The Redskins have not been very good this year, but if they clean up the special teams mistakes, that becomes a game. They have already been on their bye week and are 1-4. The lowly Giants are 0-6 and just plummeting. They are coming off a loss to the
Bears, with Eli Manning throwing 3 picks, playing sloppy football. I think that this team is dysfunctional right now. I don't know why Pick Em' players continue to pick the Giants considering they are heading for a top three draft pick.
The other bad team in this division is the Redskins. They have not played a complete game this year. Some games they play good offense, but not good defense. Some games they play good defense, but not good offense. This past game against the Cowboys, it was the special teams that killed them. I think that a bright spot for the Redskins is the mobility of RGIII. He looked like he was in pre-torn ACL form, and is finally starting to look comfortable. An interesting thing that I noticed is that he sat out the preseason as a precaution. He missed four preseason games, the amount of games it has taken him to get back to his good form. I think if he doesn't miss preseason, he does ok by week one. The defense is still and issue and the Redskins are a mediocre team right now.
I think the Eagles are on the outside looking in right now. I think that Chip Kelly would be making a huge coaching mistake if he didn't keep Nick Foles in. I think that he is the long term solution for the Eagles and they need to realize that. I also think he might give them the best chance to win now. However, if they keep Vick in, they might not do as well. They are coming off a good win against the Buccaneer, and a good win to get their confidence up. They are taking on the Cowboys for first place in a pivotal game in the divisional race.
The Cowboys are who I expect to win the NFC East. I think that Tony Romo is finally starting to play winning football. He is not turning over the ball, even though he is taking slack for his pick against the Broncos. Besides that, over the last two games Tony Romo has played exceptional football. I think the thing that could kill the Cowboys are injuries. They have had major problems staying healthy in the past, and it is creeping up on them this year. Demarco Murray is sidelined with a sprained MCL, and will be out a couple of weeks. Demarcus Ware is out with a quadriceps injury, but could be back in a few weeks. I think that if they can avoid any further major injuries, they can win this division.
The NFC East is a mess, but I expect the Cowboys to be the victors. Their special teams has been an x-factor, and look for it to carry them to the playoffs. Tell me in the comments who you think is going to win the NFC East.
Hello NFLRUSHERS, I am back with my weekly upset alert. This week 79% of you have picked the New England Patriots to win the game against the New Orleans Saints. I just don't see that happening.
The Saints are a loaded team this year. I think that Jimmy Graham is the best WR in the NFL this year. I know that he plays tight end, but I think he is better than every tight end and receiver in the entire NFL. I think that Darren Sproles is also a beast. I think that the Saints offense is so high powered nobody can stop it well. The only way a team can beat the Saints is to slow them down. If you can get some stops and score with them you have a chance. I think that their defense is another thing that sets the Saints apart. Their secondary is playing extremely well and Rob Ryan has this defense playing like one of the best in the league. I think that the only NFL team that is better than the Saints right now is the Broncos.
I don't understand how so many people can pick a falling team in the Patriots. I think that 6 points won't win any football game. I think that this set of undrafted, rookie receivers is horrible for the Patriots. Now that they are getting healthy it will be a little bit better but I don't expect much from the Patriots the rest of the season. I think that their defense is not very good even though they stifled the Bengals last week. I just don't see the Patriots as a Super Bowl favorite like they have been every year for the past 10 years. I think that when the Patriots get healthy they can be good, but they still won't be the team that they have been. I think that the only way the Patriots win is if Rob Gronkowski comes back and plays his best football. However I don't see that happening.
In the end, the Saints will take this game on the road, 31-20.
Hello NFLRUSHERS, I am back with a fantasy insight and an upset alert for Week 5. First I want to say that there are a lot of teams on bye this week so be sure to check your fantasy roster. You would not want to start a player that won't get you any points on bye week. Now I am going to give you some players that I think you should start and some players you should sit.
Start Em- Phillip Rivers: He is playing the Raiders this week and has been really good so far this year. He has not committed many turnovers and has been playing really well. I think that he not starting in many leagues, but would be a good person to start if you are unsure of who to start.
Sit Em- Joe Flacco: I am not liking the things I am seeing from Joe Flacco this year. Without Anquan Boldin and Jacoby Jones, Flacco has been having a hard time helping his receivers make plays. With 5 interceptions last week, and a relatively tough matchup against the Dolphins, I would sit Joe Flacco if he is on your starting roster.
Start Em- Jamaal Charles: I think that Jamaal has been playing good, but is due for a breakout game. I think that since he is playing the Titans, it will be a challenge, but I have a good feeling about a breakout game for Jamaal.
Sit Em- C.J. Spiller: The fact that C.J. is played Thursday night isn't good. The fact that he has a knee injury isn't good. The fact that he is playing a good Browns defense isn't good. All of these facts are saying no for C.J.
Start Em- Any Broncos Receiver: It just seems like Peyton Manning has been so good this year, I would take any Broncos receiver. I think that he has been masterful and he is actually on pace for 64 touchdown passes. I would specifically take Wes Welker or Demaryius Thomas because they have been finding the end zone.
Sit Em- Reggie Wayne: The Colts are playing the Seahawks this weekend and Reggie will be drawing a lot of one on one coverage from Richard Sherman. I think that Sherman will bounce back after Andre Johnson made him look like an average corner even though he had a pick. I wouldn't recommend Reggie this week.
Upset Alert- 88% of NFLRUSHERS have the Dolphins losing to the Ravens this week. I think that it just won't happen for the Ravens this week. I think the Dolphins being at home will just help the case for the Dolphins. They will also be angry from a loss to the Saints last week. I think that Joe Flacco and Ray Rice will both have bad games again and the Dolphins will win 24-20 in a tight game.
If you have any fantasy tips you want to give, an upset you would like to share, or any disagreements with my article, leave a comment in the comments section.
Hi everyone! It is now Week 4 of the NFL regular season and the Minnesota Vikings and the Pittsburg Steelers will play in London today.
I am guessing that the Vikings will win this one. The Vikings did a fantastic job in the last week of the season last year versus the Packers, getting the win they needed to take a Wild Card spot in the Playoffs, but losing their first game in the Playoffs versus the Packers. The Steelers though, didn't get into the Playoffs last year. Their 8-8 record last year was not enough to beat out the Super Bowl winning 10-6 Baltimore Ravens. I think that seeing them play this year, and knowing how they both did last year, the Vikings will leave London victorious.
