Seattle had an amazing performance in the Super Bowl. Their defense wasn’t playing around and were hungry for the W since the start. Wilson looked like he played in a million Super Bowls seeing how calm he was. Seattle looked very solid and didn’t seem intimidated by the Broncos. I loved that about them. Overall Seattle did not play a good game, but a great one. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a repeat if all odds stay the same. But, we’ll have to wait and see what happens next year.
I think the new Vikings QB situation is a little crazy, but not as bad as the Jets situation. Acquiring Josh Freeman wasn't the best idea in my opinion. I strongly believe that Christian Ponder will get the starting job as long as he continues to work and keeps his team chemistry positive. I can almost guarantee it. I have a feeling Josh Freeman would have a better chance with a different team like the Dolphins. But we will all have to wait to see what happens.
My advice to you at home is pretty simple. They are three things that can change how things are going for you fantasy football wise. One, stay updated in the sports world. You have to know who is injured, suspended, and things like that before the games start and before you make a final decision. Two, don't be scared to take chances because you never know when someone may have a breakout game, for example RGIII. Three, never get frustrated! You must stay humble because the right mindset can give you the best results. By doing these thing, I hope you can improve how your fantasy team is doing. I hope you can win the Grand Prize. Good Luck!
It seems as though Peyton Manning is only going to be more dominant this year, as he has had an impressive couple of weeks. That arm, IQ, and accuracy are going to take him a long way again. I was happy to see him throw 7 TDs in one game that was considered to be a huge rematch. I feel as if Manning is only going get better and better as the weeks progress. In my opinion, I think Manning is trying to get his name back in the conversation because everybody is talking about the new, young guys. Peyton has blown my expatiations thus far and I wonder as if he has done the same to you.
The Vikings new uniforms are probably my favorite ones right now. The Jaguars have nice new uniforms also, with that helmet that brings swagger into their gear. One aspect I love about the new Vikings jersey ia the modern day feel while still looking traditional. The Minnesota purple also brings swag into their gear.
Since there new they also bring that fresh out the box look. Like most NFL jerseys they also include modern day jersey tech. An example will be the Dri-Fit fabric. My overall grade for there new uniform is B+
If I was GM and somebody asked me what is more important a great QB or a great coach, I would say a great coach. Coaches are more important than people realize.
A team does not indeed ALWAYS need a great QB because at times you may have a great RB to cover up. If you were to have an amazing back, the QB could hand him the ball 90% of time. This means less time in the air where most quarterbacks are judged. If I was a GM I would draft/hire an elite quarterback.
A great coach is more important than a QB because they're the ones who make the hardest decisions. Coaches also are the ones who teach the team how to be successful individually and as a team. Think of it as this way; would you rather have a great team and a bad coach or a balanced team and a great coach?
Last season held a lot of memorable plays. In my opinion the most memorable play comes from Tampa Bay cornerback Eric Andrew Wright.
He had a 60-yard pick-6 on Eli Manning. He shook a total of three people with some great blocking. He was breaking ankles out on the field. That had to be one of the best pick-6 plays I have ever witnessed in my life. In my opinion that was the most memorable play of 2012.
The 4th quarter and OT are when clutch moments take place in the NFL. But that clutch moment also drives some players and coaches crazy. But the keyword is some. A great example of someone who doesn't choke in the clutch would be Aaron Rodgers. He, in my opinion, is the best in these clutch moments. He has had so many clutch moments, I can't even keep track. I believe he is the best and will continue to be the best clutch player in the National Football League.
I personally think there is a huge difference between the 2013 NFL Draft and the 2012 NFL Draft. For starters, last year was a way more interesting class with RGIII, Andrew Luck, Trent Richardson, Doug Martin, and Russel Wilson. But this year's class is pretty interesting with Luke Joeckel, Geno Smith, Marquise Goodwin, Desmond Trufant, Sharrif Floyd, Eddie Lacy, EJ Manual, and Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu.
One major difference with this year's class is that this group is a little more diverse in position than last years'. I have a feeling Geno Smith is going to be similar to Russel Wilson in this Draft, but will be picked sooner. It also seems as if EJ Manual and the The Honey Badger are underestimated in this Draft. Last year, I don't think anybody was really underestimated except for Wilson. Trent Richardson is pretty much like Eddie Lacy this year. Although they are not the same back and Lacy may be picked later, they are pretty similar in skill.
In conclusion, this year's Draft is different from last year's, but not as we may think. There are not as many exciting names this year, but they will still be great.
I think that the NFC East is the best division in the NFL. The NFC East has a lot of competition in it and also has playoff contending teams. These teams include the Washington Redskins, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Dallas Cowboys.
The competition in the NFC East is higher than some people think. The Giants didn't make it to the playoffs this year, but don't forget when they beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl the previous year. The Cowboys almost made it into the playoffs this year until the Redskins crushed their dreams. RGIII and his Redskins made it to playoffs, but their championship run was ended by another top QB, Russell Wilson. Not too long ago, the Eagles were one of the best teams in the NFL, and with Chip Kelly, they might be able to go back to that status overtime. With so many good teams in one division, it's not easy to pass another team or be crowned division champions.
As a great historical fact, from 1990-1993, the NFC East division had won four Super Bowl trophies. These teams included the Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys.
In conclusion, the NFC East is one of the best divisions in the NFL. I believe it will stay the best for a while, but only time will tell.
Marquise Goodwin has to be one of the best performers in the NFL Combine. "Speed Kills" and Marquise Goodwin has killing-fast speed with 4.27 seconds in the 40 yard dash. He reminds me of Doug Martin because he is small but can be mighty. Goodwin was able to bench press 13 reps of 225 pounds and has a broad jump of 132 inches. That is great for a guy who is 5'9. The thing that really has me hooked on him was his 40 yard dash because he was so close to beating Chris Johnson. A great thing about Goodwin is his hands. If anyone saw him play at the University of Texas then you'll know what I mean. Even though Marquise is a small Wide Receiver I think his athleticism will take him far in the NFL as long as he bulks up a little more.

This year's Super Bowl was excellent and amazing to watch.
I'm happy that Ray Lewis was able to get a ring one last time on his last ride. My favorite part of the Super Bowl would have to be when the 49ers started to come back because it was getting boring watching the Ravens blow out the 49ers.
The commercial that was my favorite would have to be the Joe Montana stain.
Jacoby Jones dominated to end zone on the opening kickoff for the second half. The cool thing was that the scores that I predicted were pretty close to the actual score.
What were your Super Bowl favorites?

I don't know about you guys but I can't wait until Sunday night to watch the Super Bowl XLVII. In case you didn't know it will be the San Francisco 49ers against the Baltimore Ravens at 6:30 on CBS this Sunday. Last week I was right with part of my predictions and I was lucky to get the score right for the Ravens. I hope this will be same on the biggest game of them all, the Super Bowl.
I can almost guarantee that the game will be close at the beginning and will slip towards the end. Colin Kaepernick and Frank Gore are going to have a good rushing game even with Baltimore's great defense. I also predict that Flacco will throw 200+ and all there WR/TE will have a good game with "hey diddle diddle Ray Rice up the middle". Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are going to try to stop the 49ers hot offence with Colin K., Michael C., Frank G., and Randy M.
I believe that the Baltimore Ravens to some may be luck, will beat the San Francisco 49ers. The reason why I think so will be because of Ray Lewis and the Ravens will work hard one more time to get another ring for the true legend. It will be hard but it will be like the Vikings beating the Packers right before the playoffs, but Ray and his teammates will give effort. The score will be 35-28 a Ravens win.
Hope you enjoy Sunday!

So who do I think will go to the Super Bowl? Well I'm going to give you a hint, it's going to be Ray one more time against KP. But let's start off small and work our way up to Super Bowl talk.
Ravens vs Patriots (the rematch of last year's championship) I predict that it will be a close game and will go into overtime unlike last year, especially since the Ravens are trying to help out there brother Ray to another Ring. I predict Ray Rice will run for over 100+ yards and Joe Flacco will throw for 200+. The score will end Ravens 38 Patriots 35 F/OT.
49ers vs Falcons, who will win the conference? Atlanta is playing great this year no doubt about it because there in the conference championship. I believe the 49ers offence will be too hot for the Falcons to handle after what they did to Green Bay. I also believe that the Falcons will lead in parts of the game because they have just been too good this year. The defenses are too good to have a high scoring game. The game will be decided in the 4th Quarter and I believe the '9ers will win 28-21.
Who will win the 2013 Super Bowl in New Orleans?
That's something for another day of football talk.

Robert Griffin III (RGIII) is my favorite player in the NFL. This guy has to be the best rookie quarterback who ever played in the NFL. There are three big components that make me love this guy: speed, accuracy, and leadership.
RGIII has to be one of the fastest quarterbacks in the NFL. If he isn’t, I’m shocked because he runs a stunning 4.41. When I saw that I was stunned to see that he could run that fast. He also gave me a new goal, run a 4.40 or lower.
When someone talks about accuracy, they have to mention RGIII’s name. He’s one of the best in the business. Have you seen him run and throw? I remember some of the passes he threw against Dallas on Thanksgiving 2012 and if he would have threw it 1millimeter off it would have been intercepted. He’ll be in Hall of Fame I can almost guarantee it.
He is the first one to the meeting and the last one out. That’s what I love about him, his leadership. He even gets on the bus first just to fist bump the players. No wonder he has a C on his jersey. I wouldn’t be surprised if he got all stars on his captain jersey.
Now you know who’s my favorite NFL player -- who’s yours?
