Kid Reporter George: Week 4 Predictions

As week 4 comes around there are some good games coming up with a couple of rivalry games. Here are my week 4 predictions for every game.

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins- New York Jets

The Jets and the dolphins are both strong starting out the season yet after seeing what Buffalo did Miami last week I have to give the edge to the Jets.

Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Carolina Panthers

Tampa Bay's new number one overall pick Jameis Winston has been playing decent in his first three games yet the defense is a huge problem for the Buccaneers and the Panthers offense has been doing very well lately, the Panthers are going to put up a lot of points against a bad Buccaneers defense.

New York Giants at Buffalo Bills- Buffalo Bills

The Giants did look good last week against the Redskins, yet Buffalo has a high powered offense with Tyrod Taylor commanding and their defense only let up 14 points last week against the Dolphins, so this one goes to the Bills.

Oakland Raiders at Chicago Bears- Oakland Raiders

The bears still do not have their starting QB Jay Cutler and also their number one WR Alshon Jeffery while the Raiders Derek Carr has been showing that he is an elite QB in this league also with their first round pick Amari Cooper showing he can make a name for himself.

Houston Texans at Atlanta Falcons- Atlanta Falcons

This is an easy game to pick considering the Falcons are undefeated and their new starting RB Devonta Freeman is an absolute stud, while Huston is 1-2 and their QB Ryan Mallett is not looking very good.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts- Indianapolis Colts

This is another easy game, even though the Colts have not looked that great and Andrew Luck is battling an injury they are playing the 1-2 Jaguars who got blown out by New England last week

Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals- Cincinnati Bengals

After a wild win last week, the Bengals are 3-0 and Andy Dalton is looking very well as well as A.J. Green who had a phenomenal couple of weeks. The Chiefs on the other hand are 1-2 and are not looking that impressive, so I say the Bengals win this one.

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins- Philadelphia Eagles

Both of these teams have started of poorly yet the Eagles have more potential the Redskins considering the Eagles have only used Demarco Murray on less than half of their snaps and are still running the ball very good with their other running backs.

Cleveland Browns at San Diego Chargers- San Diego Chargers

The Chargers Melvin Gordon has done well in his first games in the NFL and Phillip Rivers has been doing the same consistent stuff he has been doing for the past 3 years. While the Browns in my opinion have the wrong QB starting and because of that I believe the Chargers will win this game.

Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos- Denver Broncos

Peyton Manning had a rough first game yet after that he became his old self and brought the Broncos to 3-0. The Vikings need more than a good game from Adrian Peterson for them to win this game.

St. Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals- Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are 3-0 getting a lot of help from their QB Carson Palmer and from their shut down defense. St. Louis had a good first game but after that they didn't play the same and lost their last two games. The Cardinals defense is too good for the Rams offense so the Cardinals are the ones who win this game.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers- Green Bay Packers

Even though Jordy Nelson is out for the year with a torn acl, the Packers are 3-0 and Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the league without a doubt. The 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick has not been the same since his first season starting in San Francisco and with him struggling the 49ers have no chance in this game.

Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints- Dallas Cowboys

This game is a toss up considering this could go either way. The Cowboys though did look against the Falcons even though at the end they lost. The saints will most likely have Drew Brees play in this game yet even if he does he will be playing injured and I believe Dallas can come up and win this game.

Detroit Lions at Seattle Seahawks- Seattle Seahawks

Both of these teams started the season really bad but the Seahawks did win one game this year. Considering this game is in Seattle and it's going to be really loud so Seattle is going to win this game.

Kid Reporter: The Best WR

There were many wide receivers that came out of this years draft, yet the one who really stood out was Sammy Watkins who was drafted by the Buffalo Bills. Sammy Watkins was one of the most athletic players who had entered the combine this year. He had one of the best years a player could ask for during his last year playing at Clemson. He hauled in over 100 catches and averaged 14.5 yards per catch. To top that off he had 12 touchdowns, one of the most by a wide receiver that was drafted. Now the Bills have added another great athletic player to add with EJ Manuel and CJ Spiller. I hate to say this being a Jets fan but you better watch out for the Bills.

Kid Reporter: Just wait till next year

There is not just one thing that the Jets could of done to secure a playoff spot this year but I believe that the jets can secure a playoff spot next year. If you have not realized by now my favorite team is the New York Jets.   First the Jets have to get a good draft pick with either a wide receiver or an offensive lineman. After this year Santonio Holmes will most likely be leaving the Jets and then we will be needing a new receiver for Geno Smith to throw to. Also they need someone to protect Geno, the Jets offensive line let up 43 sacks this season and are looking for better people to improve the offensive line.

The New York Jets will most likely be drafting Mike Evans from Texas A&M and Morgan Moses from Virginia. Mike Evans as a tall 6'5 225 monster is definitely a guy that could replace Santonio Holmes and can get good chemistry with Geno. Also Morgan Moses a 6'6 325 pounds is a guy who can really protect Geno and can find holes for Bilial Powell and Chris Ivory. So if the New York Jets can get good draft picks the Jets have a good shot at making the post season in 2014.

Kid Reporter: The Snowy Games

Last Sundaywere, there were many snowy games in the east coast area and the teams still played through it. Yet the best game was the Dolphins @ Steelers game in Pittsburgh.   This game came right to the and almost had the play of the year with Antonio Brown steeping out of bounds at the four yard line. To start off the game Miami does not play in cold weather and they still won in the horrible weather. By halftime the score was 7 to 10 and Miami was confident they would hold that lead.

This game came right to the and almost had the play of the year with Antonio Brown steeping out of bounds at the four yard line. To start off the game Miami does not play in cold weather and they still won in the horrible weather. By halftime the score was 7 to 10 and Miami was confident they would hold that lead.

In this game we also saw Troy Polamalu return to his old self with a big pick six in the game that took them the lead. With Ryan Tannehill playing in the snow for the first time he really shined, he threw 20 for 33 with 200 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. He also came really clutch with only 2:53 left on the clock he threw it to Charles Clay and that gave them the lead. So the Steelers didn't have much time to score, so they only hoped for the best when the clock was going down and had to lateral the ball.

Ben Roethlisberger threw the ball to Emanuel Sanders who then lateraled to three other people who then got the ball to Antonio Brown. Antonio started sprinting down the field and no one could catch him. When he crossed the goal he thought he just saved the Steelers until the referee said he went out of bounds on the 12 yard line. This was reviewed and he clearly steeped out of bounds and Miami won the game. This was definitely the best game in the snow this week.

Kid Reporters: Saints vs. Panthers

There is a big matchup next Sunday with the New Orleans Saints vs. the Carolina Panthers. This is going to be a great NFC matchup with two high power offenses colliding on the field. Who ever wins this matchup will most likely win the NFC South, so this is a big game for these teams.   The keys for winning this game for both teams is to get out to an early lead. The keys for winning this game for both teams is to get out to an early lead. If Carolina lets the Saints get out ahead and let the crowd into this game, they are toast. Yet if the Saints let the Panthers get out ahead, there is no way they can fight back with the shutdown defense the Panthers are playing.

So in my opinion, I think the Panthers will come out on top in this one. The Panthers have won eight games in a row and Cam Newton is having a Pro Bowl season and doesn't look like anyone is beating them. Also the Panthers defense has been playing lights out and they are just the better team. In the comments write your opinion of who will win, signing out is George P.

Kid Reporter: The Playoffs

As of right now the playoff picture is already set in the NFC, but not so much in the AFC. NFC

NFC South: Saints

NFC West: Seahawks

NFC North: Lions

NFC East: Cowboys/Giants

Wild Card #1: Panthers

Wild Card. #2: 49ers

As of right now, in the NFC east, there is no team that is running away with the division lead. I do still believe that the Giants are a contender in this division being only two games out of the lead.

The AFC is a different story. There are many teams that can make a Playoff run. Here are my choices:

AFC

AFC East: Patriots

AFC North: Bengals

AFC West: Broncos/Chiefs

AFC South: Colts

Wild Card #1: Broncos/Chiefs

Wild Card #2: Chargers/Jets

In the AFC West there are two really good teams fighting for the first place in their division and who ever comes in second will definitely make the first Wild Card spot. If the Chargers and Jets keep up what they are doing, they will most likely play a play-in game to get the second Wild Card spot.

The winner of the NFC Conference is:

NFC: Seahawks

The winner of the AFC Conference is:

AFC: Colts

This is an interesting pick with the Colts winning the AFC, but they have one of the best quarterbacks in the League and also one of the best running backs in the league as well. The Seahawks is a no doubt pick for the NFC winner. No one can compete with them and that’s why they deserve the NFC champions.

Super Bowl Winners: Seattle Seahawks

League MVP: Peyton Manning

This is a no doubt about it pick Peyton has 33 touchdowns with only six picks only through week eleven.

Most Improved Player: Alshon Jeffery

He is definitely a player who has improved a lot. He has three touchdowns with 735 yards on the year so far.

Aaron Rodgers best quarterback for 2013

After being backup quarterback for Green Bay for three years, Aaron Rodgers started in 2008 and led the team to a championship in Super Bowl XLV. After the 2011 season, he was named AP athlete of the year. He has the highest passer rating in the NFL for the past two years and he threw for 4,295 yards and 39 touchdowns this past season. These are more impressive numbers than any other quarterback out there. It is for these reasons that Aaron Rodgers is hands down the best quarterback for 2013.&n

Cardinals take flight

Poll.

The Cardinals this off season have made some smart quarterback changes. Their front office released their two quarterbacks, Kevin Kolb and John Skelton, and decided to trade for the 2002 Heisman trophy winner Carson Palmer. In order to make sure that their all-pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was getting the right amount of catches, the Cardinal’s front office traded two draft picks away to Oakland to get Palmer. Fitzgerald had a down year last season with only 71 catches and 4 touchdowns. The front office thinks those numbers can improve with Carson Palmer. Out of all the quarterback changes, the Arizona Cardinals have handled this situation the best. Because of this, watch out for the Cardinals this season!

New Kid Reporter George: My Favorite Player

My favorite NFL player is Adrian Peterson because after tearing his ACL and MCL during last season he was able to recover and return to play this year.   During the 2012 regular season, Adrian came nine yards shy of beating the single season rushing yards record.  His ability to overcome these two terrible injuries and return in nearly better condition due to intense pre-season preparation makes Adrian Peterson my favorite player.   George NFLRUSH Kid Reporter
