NFC Championship Game
Seattle Seahawks 28 - Green Bay Packers 22 (OT)
WOW! What an incredible game! In a comeback for the ages, the Seattle Seahawks beat the Packers in OT to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row.
Aside from the strong running of Marshawn Lynch (23 fantasy points) the Seahawks offense had no way to answer the stout Packers defense (18 fantasy points). The Seahawks started their comeback by executing an amazing fake field goal to score their first TD. That left them looking at a 7-19 deficit.
It was late in the fourth quarter when Russell Wilson (14 fantasy points) rallied Seattle for two TDs in the final two minutes of the game to give the Seahawks their first lead of the game. After the Packers sent it into OT, Wilson directed the team down the field and then connected with Jermaine Kearse (9 fantasy points) for the 35-yard game winner.
The Green Bay defense forced five turnovers, and Aaron Rodgers (5 fantasy points) connected with Randall Cobb (10 fantasy points) on a TD pass to the give the Packers a 13-0 lead. From that point until near the very end, they dominated the game on the ground and in the air ... but settling for five FGs came back to haunt them.
