Do not allow obstacles in the way of your goals....
Draft Day....oh yeah! My Colts didn't have but 5 picks but they did an awesome job making the most of those picks. J. Mewhort, the OT from Ohio State is definitely what our O-Line needed. He will help provide more strength to keep Luck upright this year. Also, Moncrief, WR from Ole Miss, should give Andrew more targets plus with the injuries we had last year, the Colts can use some young, strong (and fast) receivers. I believe Newsome, from Ball State; Jackson, from W-Ky; and U.John from Georgia State will help contribute to Indianapolis in time. Overall, I am really excited about the picks made and cannot wait for pre-season to start.
Don't forget to Play60 while school is out!
Well, we have all heard about the "top 3" QB's for this year's draft and I think Bridgewater will be the best for a long NFL career. He is the most Pro Ready especially how he show cases under the center. Bridgewater can fit and adjust with receivers during a game which will be a huge asset for the draft. I believe he will be in the top 10 picks....depending on any swapping of draft spots. There is a lot of great receivers out there to be drafted so it would be possible that the "top 3" may have to ride it out a bit.
May 8th cannot get here soon enough!!
Enjoy the draft....
Hey fans! Well, sad that the Super Bowl did not end the way I would have liked for Peyton. Next year....
Oh yes, Combine time! Even though the Combine does not show what a player can do for a team in a season it sure is fun to try to master the "best fit" puzzle. I believe one good fit for the Colts would be Wide Receiver Davante Adams from Fresno....he seems really solid as a college player and I think he will fit in great for Indianapolis. The other big name would be Benjamin from FSU.
Now, rearrange our offensive line and Colts should be set.....Check back with me after the combine on this!!
Take note fans...this is going to be a wild draft year.
Until next time....PLAY 60
Wow, what a great comeback for the Colts! It seems like Luck is following Manning's footsteps. They both like to wait until the 4th qtr to pile it on their opponents. I knew they had it in them to win over the Chiefs after just beating them but I was not too sure before the 4th qtr. Andrew Luck takes control like Peyton did to get the job done. He starts hitting different receivers and mixes up. The Chiefs defense just could not handle the fast pace change the Luck and the Colts threw at them in the end.
Hopefully the four teams coming off a bye week sat in front of the screen watching these games. It sometimes hurts them having a bye but does give them more time to rest and plan. I believe the Saints will have a lot of momentum going into this weekends game with an awesome win over Nick Foles and the Eagles. Lots of close games!
On a different note...LET'S GO COLTS AND BRONCOS!
Until next week....stay active and Play 60.
Hey fans, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and the NFL Santa was good to you!
So, we are now setting up for the road to the Super Bowl. Personally, I expect the number one teams of Seattle and Denver to be there. I know there is usually an upset during playoffs to where one of them gets knocked out but I really don't think that will be this year.
BUT, if my Colts keep it up....they could easily be playing in their first Super Bowl without Peyton. They beat the Broncos once...would love to see a repeat of that game. I have to say that the other two teams that may make an upset would be the Patriots or Saints. No matter what it's going to be fun watching the battle!
Until next time...don't forget to get your PLAY 60
Ok fans, do you think you have the playoff teams figured out? Well, my Colts are dominating their division and I see them in the playoffs. Surprising? No, not with how the other teams are playing in the AFC...BUT I do believe the Eagles are going to make the playoffs with how they are playing right now. Philadelphia's offense has stepped up their game and I think it will be enough to put them in the playoffs. They just have to stay healthy.
On the flip side, the Chiefs I think have gotten themselves shook up with their losses and don't look like the same team at the beginning of the season. I can see them missing out on the playoffs if they don't get it together, and sooooon! That is a strong division so it will take them to win the rest games to make it or settle for Wild Card. The defense is letting too many guys uncovered right now making it easy for the offense to score on them. No matter what though.....I am glad there is some football to watch this weekend!!
Winter has hit here...be safe!
Man, this was a Week 10 for a lot of teams. I want to congratulate the Rams on a big win over my Colts! Did not see that coming AT ALL! With Sam Bradford out and Indy coming off a huge win over Denver who would have guessed the out come of that game. Luck is definitely a 2nd half player right now, but the Rams came out from the start fired up and never stopped. Colts offense just never got it to a comfortable pattern. But, on the Rams behalf, I think losing Bradford gave them a "payback" attitude.
Nick Foles I do believe will make a "good" QB for the Eagles....a "great" QB with time. I say that because I feel like Philadelphia needs to build a little stronger offensive line that fits with Foles style of playing...time will tell. As a player I like Nick so best of luck to him.
Now, I want to shout out to my Colts fans that I think they deserve the best "Turn A 'round" team in the NFL.....And it's not just "Luck".....pun intended. AFC Champions!!!
Fans, enjoy the rest of the football weekend...
Wow, who would have thought that the strongest teams in the NFL would be out of the AFC West! Kansas City is just rockin' it in all positions. I think they are a team that has come together and is actually performing as one. They have a great mix-up of offense whether passing or running the ball. If the offense is a little flat, the defense will make sure they hold their opponent to help them out.
Then you have the Broncos, which are very strong and are led by Peyton Manning...what more do you expect! Now, I don't want to brag too much, but shout out to my Indianapolis Colts for shutting them down and handing them their first loss!!! As for the rest of their season, yep they will still finish strong.
Chargers are having a real good first half of the season as well, but I'm not so sure if they are Playoff bound. San Diego has some tough games coming up...and might get a Wild Card spot at least. I will pick Broncos to give the Chiefs their first loss and then my Colts to hand them the second!
Don't forget to get PLAY 60!
Wow fans....not sure who is a Denver or Indy fan, but this is going to be a game I wish I could go see! Peyton will always be remembered as an Indianapolis Colt, just like when we talk about as Joe Montana a 49'er. I am a die hard Colts fan but Manning is a quarterback that no matter where he is, fans will love him. I think he will still get a warm welcome when he is in Indy. He still does a lot for that community and the hospital there. As much as I am liking Andrew Luck, I hope when Peyton retires he can do what Jeff Saturday did, return as a Colt and retire a Colt!!
Well, the Broncos have a real good all-around team this year and being led by Manning, I think it will be difficult for too many teams to give them trouble this year including my Colts...BUT I sure would like to see a close game.
If you are fortunate enough to be there for that game...give me a shout and let me know how it was!
Enjoy your visit Peyton...
The first thing you need to do to reach your goal is to remove any obstacles!
Hey fans! Football is in the air....literally and I am pumped up. My Colts are starting to really show more and more confidence and style out on the field, which means...more wins!
But, what about these Broncos? Yes, yes my Colts gave up Peyton to Denver but Indianapolis has LUCK now! The Broncos really have a well positioned offense and defense, just like the Colts :) I believe the only team that has a chance to beat them will be the Chiefs.
The Colts know how Manning plays things out which will be an asset to Indy and the Chiefs are coming out very strong and adjusting to each team they play very well. Kansas has brought in a new offense spread that has helped them to a 4-0 start for the season. However, as long as the Bronco's defense holds together I am not too sure if ANY team can stop Denver's offense. This will definately be a fun season to watch!
Get Ready For Some Football!
Hey fans, I hope you are pumped up about this season as much as I am!
I first want to shout out a special Thank you to Donald Brown for keeping his word to my uncle and giving him an autographed glove at the end of Colts camp. Little things like that means big things to fans!
Now, what about that brilliant trade. Man, adding Richardson to our Colts offense definately will step our game. This will give more depth in our running backs and more choices for Luck. Richardson made a great impression for the Colts against San Francisco. I think he will fit in great with the Colts offense. Not too sure if it was the right move for the Brown's but yay Colts!!
Colts fan, now and forever!
I hope you are enjoying preseason! It just makes me get pumped up for the regular season to start. With preseason winding down there are a couple teams that may wish they had more time. After the Buffalo Bills wiped out coaches and players from last year they have a lot to do.
New head coach Doug Marrone decided on rookie EJ Manuel to be their new starting QB. He's looking pretty comfortable in that position, but not sure if he’s enough to turn around the Bills quite yet. I do love to see rookies get a start, but Kolb is still in the competition for starting job.
The same is true with the Jets, Mark Sanchez or rookie Geno Smith? I think the Jets will go with what they know (Sanchez) for now, but I am really looking forward to watching more of Smith in the future.
Until, next time don’t forget to get your PLAY 60 in!
Hey fans...I hope you are enjoying your summer so far. Baseball is going great right now but getting anxious for football season to begin.
Big football news....Tebow to the Patriots...Hmmmm, this could be what Tim needs. I think having him under the wings of Brady will help mold the new Patriot into a great QB. Tebow will be a great QB once he steps back and takes in what the veteran Brady offers to show him. I also think once the spotlight is off Tebow and he can get a fresh start will definately be to his advantage.
Patriots should use Tim in situations when they need to throw the other team off a little, even if it is just a few plays here and there. Good experience and strategy for both!
Until next time.....keep your Play 60 on!!

Hey fans, I hope you all had fun watching the NFL Draft. I know I did. My Colts are looking pretty good now!!!
Ok, it's 3rd and 5 on the 40 yard line with 45 seconds to go and you are down by 6. Which quarterback would you trust to get the win?
Peyton Manning of course! This guy could score 2 touchdowns if needed in that time. Peyton is an awesome leader. I guess all quarterbacks can lead, but not all of them can get their whole team to follow. Manning's quick thinking and his team trusting him with whatever he calls out makes him my "go to QB."
I miss him being a Colt but still love watching him play!
Talk with you all soon.
Don't forget to Play 60!
Motivation comes from a fire inside that only YOU can ignite!
Hey fans! I hope everyone is as stoked as I am about the upcoming draft. After watching the combine, it is going to be fun watching who goes where.
This year it seems like everyone is looking to beef up their O-line and D-line. The top draft picks last year were all about the QB's, which I am not complaining about since my team landed Andrew Luck! To me, OT Luke Joeckel from Texas A&M and DT Sharrif Floyd from Florida will be the first two overall draft picks. Then my favorite DE, Dion Jordan will be called next.
Being partial to the line myself, I am loving this draft year!!
Well, at least we are one step closer to football season. Enjoy the Draft!
Until next time,
You have three choices in life; Give up, Give in or Don't give up until your'e in!
Hey fans, I know a lot of you are caught up in the "March Madness" but remember, the draft is coming up.....YAY!
With the upcoming season, I sure would like to see one change in the NFL rules. I think they need to bring back the "Touchdown Dance"--well, as long as it is not offensive. When these players run across that line, who wouldn't want to celebrate? With the adrenaline rush, the emotions running high, and the excitement of scoring…How can you contain that? Plus, if fans were asked, I believe they would love it too! I have watched old films of how the players had their special moments and thought how cool it was. As I said, as long as it is a fun and tasteful celebration dance....BRING IT BACK!! I play center but I still practice one!
Stay cool and keep in shape. Football will be back soon!
Wow fans, that was a memorable Super Bowl. First half was all about the Ravens then boom here comes the 49ers for the second half.
I was happy for Flacco and Lewis, they really deserve a Super Bowl Ring. They played awesome! Well, at least in the first half. Most of all, it was nice that it was not a blow-out game and both teams had a time of glory.
As far as the commercials, the Dorito's was at the top of my list! The other was the Clysdale commercial showing baby "Hope." That one touches home with me since I live near Grant's Farm where they live.
I hope everyone had a great time watching the game, hanging with friends and enjoying some great food. I know I did!
Now, on to the NFL Draft.....who do you think will go #1?
Don't forget to get your Play 60 in!
