I think that the Oakland Raiders drafted the best linebacker in Khalil Mack. It was a great pick for them because they needed one. They have Mack starting on the outside, Roach in the middle and Burnett on the right. Mack is better than both of them because he is quicker, faster, stronger, and is great at defending the run. Once he has experience in the league he will be great. The Raiders have a great pass rush now with Justin Tuck on the right and Lamar Woodley on the left. Mack will work well with Woodley when they pass rush together. In the middle they have Pat Sims as their defensive end. This Raiders defense has gotten much better with the players they got from free agency but their best pick up was Khalil Mack out of Buffalo. He was obviously the best player in the draft. He will be even better after a couple years in the league. My prediction is that he will be one of the greatest linebackers in the league. A great pick by the Oakland Raiders.
The quarterback that I think has the brightest future in the NFL would be Blake Bortles. One reason why I think that is because he is big. He is 6'5 and he is still very agile and can get out of the pocket when he is in trouble. I think of him as a Ben Roethlisberger and Colin Kaepernick combined. He is like Roethlisberger because of his size and the way he handles pressure in the pocket. He can also take big hits and is very hard to bring down. He is like Colin Kaepernick because he is quick and athletic. He can run really fast and can run the read option very well. Another strength for Bortles is his ability to throw the ball. He has a big arm and can throw it very far. He is accurate on his passes as well. I think Bortles will be drafted the first pick in the draft because the Texans have no quarterback. They just got rid of Matt Schaub. Blake Bortles is going to be good next year as long as he can handle the pressure of being a starting quarterback.
The Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints will be a great game to watch this Sunday. The team that I think will win is the Saints for a couple of reasons.
First, the Saints are amazing at home, going undefeated this season.
Second, the Saints have a much better offense with Drew Brees and he has the ability to tear apart the Panther's defense. The only way the Panthers have a chance at winning are Cam Newton and their defense. If Cam Newton can step it up against the fifth ranked defense in the league then the Panthers have a chance. If the defense of the Panthers can shut down Drew Brees then I think that will be the game decider. Drew Brees is almost the whole Saints offense, so if the Panthers put pressure on him, he could have a tough time passing. Sadly I think the New Orleans Saints are going to end the Carolina Panthers' amazing streak. I can't wait to see how it plays out.
The upset that surprised me the most was the Rams beating the Colts. The main reason this was surprising was because the Colts have beaten the 49ers and the Broncos. Those are two really hard teams. Another reason why is because the Colts didn't just get beaten by the Rams, they got crushed by the Rams.
The upset that made me the happiest though was the Carolina Panthers beating the San Francisco 49ers. It made me happy because I was actually at the game and the Panthers are my favorite team. I got to see one of the best runs of the week by DeAngelo Williams. I also got to see Florence get his second straight pick in two games. The Panthers defense was amazing. They held Colin Kaepernick to only 91 yards passing. The 49ers defense was good too, but not as good as the Panthers. The final score ended up being 10-9. The 49ers kicked three field goals and the Panthers kicked one field goal but had a touchdown. It was a very defensive game but was really fun to watch. This was my favorite upset by far! Go Panthers!!
The Vikings have a lot of decent quarterbacks on their roster that can all be starters for other teams. One is Josh Freeman, who they just got from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a starter there but now is the third string on the Vikings because of all the turnovers or missed throws in Tampa Bay. The Vikings second string quarterback is Christian Ponder. He was a good starter once on the Vikings but then lost his job to a former quarterback from the Kansas City Chiefs, Matt Cassel. Matt is now the starting quarterback for the Vikings. The reason he came to Minnesota was because the San Francisco 49ers dropped Alex Smith and the Chiefs got him and replaced Cassel. Matt Cassel is not doing bad in Minnesota and I think it is good that he is starting. In my opinion, I think they should trade one of their quarterbacks to a team who needs one like the Jacksonville Jaguars. Minnesota is doing a good job on improving their passing game.
The 0-3 team that surprises me the most this season is the Washington Redskins. The reason why is because the Redskins won their division last year and made it to the playoffs. Now they are 0-3.
The first week they played the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles' only win came from the Redskins. The Redskins defense in that game was horrible. The Eagles drove down the field easily a dozen times. The second week they played the Green Bay Packers and again, they had a really bad game. The Packers are good but the Redskins are capable of so much more. Aaron Rodgers threw for 480 yards that game. The Redskins defense did not show up again. The third week they played the Detroit Lions and got beat by one touchdown. The Lions are a decent team but the Redskins have shown before that they can beat them. The Redskins defense was weak in that game. Matthew Stafford threw for 350 yards.
The Redskins have had some luck with the New York Giants 0-3, the Philadelphia Eagles 1-2, although the Dallas Cowboys are 2-1. The Washington Redskins have to step it up if they want to have a chance to make it to the playoffs. I believe the Redskins should beat the Oakland Raiders in Week 4, but let's see what happens!
I have a few tips to set your fantasy lineup for the start of the 2013 season. Let's start with the wild card spot. There seems to be a trend in the NFL with running quarterbacks. These types of quarterbacks won't always win the game but they do put up a lot of fantasy points running and passing.
Some examples of running quarterbacks are RG3, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, and then there are some rookie quarterbacks that can run too. Some consistant pocket passers are Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford, and Joe Flacco.
You can rotate those quarterbacks depending on their matchup. For your running back, you should pick one that doesn't have to share the carries, like Arian Foster, Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson, Doug Martin, Marshawn Lynch, or Jamaal Charles. Again you want to look at their matchup before you choose one.
For wide receivers I would pick them based on your quarterback and the opposing defense. Some good receivers that have good quarterbacks are Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Dez Bryant, Julio Jones, Roddy White, and A.J. Green.
For tight ends I would suggest picking Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkownski, or Antonio Gates. The defense that you should pick should be based on how good the opposing offense is, but your defense should be strong in general. I hope these tips will help you win your league in NFL RUSH.
The most memorable play of the year for me was Cam Newton's 70 yard touchdown run! It was against the Atlanta Falcons and they were playing at home. They ended up winning 30 to 20. Cam had 287 yards and 2 touchdowns passing. He also had 116 yards rushing and a touchdown. The touchdown that he got was the 70 yard run. He scored that touchdown because it was a quarterback option. He faked the handoff to Jonathan Stewert and then ran down the left sideline. That was how he scored. That was my most memorable play of the whole 2012 season. Can't wait for the 2013 season to start!
There are good teams in all of the divisions, but I believe that the best division in the NFL is the NFC East. I think they will be the best because any one of those teams could make it in to the playoffs. The Redskins are a young team that did great last year and will only get better. They ended up losing in the first round of the playoffs against the Seattle Seahawks. The New York Giants are a great team, but Eli Manning didn't show up for them last year. The Eagles have a great defense, but need to work on their offense. Having a new coach will help with that. The Cowboys are a great all around team, but they need to make sure they stay injury free this season. The NFC East is a great division with great rivalries.
If I had to pick one Super Bowl MVP, I would have chosen Jacoby Jones.
I would have chosen him because he had an impressive number of receiving yards. He also caught a long bomb and juked 2 people on the same play.
The Ravens were up by a lot in the first half. To start the second half, the San Francisco 49ers were kicking off. Jacoby Jones took the kickoff, broke one tackle and then he was gone. It was a 109 yard kick return touchdown and was the longest kick return in history. I was surprised when I saw Joe Flacco getting the MVP award. I believe that the award should have gone to Jacoby Jones.

Most of the Divisional Playoffs were really exciting. The least exciting game was the blowout the New England Patriots handed to the Houston Texans. The Patriots ended up on top, beating the Texans 41-28.
The most surprising game was the 49ers over the Packers. Colin Kaepernick set rushing records for a quarterback which the Packers had no answer for. The 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers at Candlestick Park 45-31.
The Denver Broncos ended up losing to the Baltimore Ravens in double overtime. Peyton Manning threw an interception which cost them the game. The Ravens kicked a field goal in double overtime and won the game.
The most exciting game of the divisional playoffs had to be the Seatle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons game. The Falcons were winning 20 to nothing in the first half. But in the second half the Seahawks came all the way back and took the lead with 30 seconds to go. Thirty seconds was all the time Matt Ryan needed to lead his team to a winning field goal at the end of the game. The final score was 30-28.
The two teams that I think will make it to the Super Bowl are New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers.
I think the New England Patriots will beat the Houston Texans in the AFC Championship because New England just recently crushed Houston. The New England Patriots offense has been amazing, and their defense has been forcing a lot of turnovers these past few weeks.
The San Francisco 49ers are one of the best NFC teams this season. San Francisco lost their starting quarterback Alex Smith to a concussion, but Colin Kaepernick (the 49ers second string quarterback) has been showing how good he is. Kaepernick's legs allow the 49ers to be more dynamic.
San Francisco's defense has been amazing. They possibly have the best defense in the NFL. They've got Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree, and Vernon Davis to help Kaepernick.
This week, the San Francisco 49ers are going to face the New England Patriots. This game may be a preview of who might win the Super Bowl. My prediction is that the New England Patriots will win Super Bowl XLVII. I can't wait till the Super Bowl, and I hope my predictions will be correct!

My favorite play of the season was RG3's 80 yard touchdown run. It was so awesome!
When I saw that he got an 80 yard touchdown, I thought it was a passing play. When I realized it was a run, I was amazed. RG3 is going to be a great quarterback in the future. I can't wait till he pulls off another huge run just like this one.

So far I think the Carolina Panthers are doing well, despite their disappointing loss to the Houston Texans. The Texans weren't even playing their star running back, Arian Foster.
Ryan Kuechly has been doing great for the Panthers defense. The team had a good win in Week 2 of the preseason when they beat the Miami Dolphins 23-17. The Panthers were leading by a lot at first, then the Dolphins came back and almost won it, but the Panthers put an end to it with a pick in the end zone.
I believe that the Panthers will have at least 2 or 3 more wins that they did last year. Go Panthers!

My favorite part about the NFL season is the excitement of picking my team and competing in fantasy football. It gets me so pumped up about football and I am so sad when the season ends every year.
My main goal is to beat my dad in fantasy football. I study a lot (sometimes every day!) so I can try to win. I also like watching the Carolina Panthers play and see how they improve every year. My favorite plays are when Cam Newton runs the ball.
I can't wait till the 2012 NFL season gets kicked off!

For my week 1 roster in NFLRUSH Fantasy, I am selecting Cam Newton as my quarterback. I am picking him because last year, Cam Newton did great against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has improved a lot since then too.
For my running back, I am picking Arian Foster. Arian was very successful last year and he is facing the Dolphins who don't have a very well-run defense. I am picking Calvin Johnson as my wide receiver. He is the best wide-out in my opinion because he does well no matter which quarterback is throwing to him.
For my tight end, I am picking Rob Gronkowski because he works well with Tom Brady as his quarterback. My defense is going to be Philadelphia Eagles because they are facing the Cleveland Browns and the Browns lost their star player.
My wild card selection is going to be Drew Brees because he broke the record for most passing yards and will be facing a bad defense. That is my starting lineup for week 1 of the 2012 NFL season.

The team that I think had a great Draft is the Washington Redskins because they got Robert Griffin III (RG3) as a 2nd round pick .
I think RG3 is the best rookie quarterback in the NFL right now. He can run, he can pass very accurately, and he reads the game very well. RG3 was a good pick for the Redskins and I think it was better than the Indianapolis Colts pick, Andrew Luck.
The Redskins also got a backup quarterback, Kirk Cousins. He is very useful if RG3 gets hurt. I think the Washington Redskins got the best draft picks in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The top three players that are going to be on my starting 2012 NFL RUSH Fantasy roster are Cam Newton, Michael Vick and Calvin Johnson.
Cam Newton is going to do well because he is facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Carolina's first game of the season. The last two times he played them, he got a ton of points.
I think Michael Vick is going to be great because he runs and passes so well and the Cleveland Browns have a bad running and a bad passing defense.
My final choice is going to be wide receiver Calvin Johnson. I believe he is going to get at least two touchdowns because he is facing the St. Louis Rams. These are my top three fantasy picks of 2012.
Tell me who your top Fantasy picks will be in the comments!
