They're fast. They're fearless. They go over the middle and make the catch, knowing that they are going to get rocked. Their blocks are rarely noticed but often spring running backs for long gains.
Wes Welker – Denver Broncos
100 or more catches in five of his past seven seasons. 841 career receptions. Known for two things: sure hands and reliability. And oh yeah, he's facing his old team, and he's got a chip on his shoulder. Formerly one of Tom Brady's favorite targets; currently one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets.
Golden Tate – Seattle Seahawks
He's been in the league for four years and has increased his receptions and yards every year. He's found end zone pay dirt 15 times in his young career. He's fast, he's good...he's Golden.
Michael Crabtree – San Francisco 49ers
He sleeps with over mitts on his hands. He catches 150 balls after every practice. He missed much of this season but has given the 49ers a huge spark -- and a deep threat -- with his return. His coach Jim Harbaugh calls him the greatest pass catcher of all time. The jury is out on that one, but it may change with a big game on Sunday.
Julian Edelman – New England Patriots
His 105 receptions this season are more than the Patriots next two receivers combined. Tom Brady calls him "Minitron." He got a big opportunity to play this season; he was ready for it; and he seized it.
