Who gets the Wildcard Credit?

Joe Flacco commandeered a game winning drive. Let's hope he can do it again. . .

Well, who could have seen this coming? Both teams from Super Bowl XLIV are out of the Playoffs already.

The best game of Wild-card Weekend had to have been the Jets vs. Colts game (and yes, it’s personal) in a rematch of last year’s AFC title game. A different outcome was in store for Indy, however. While many, me included, were left scratching their heads at Jim Caldwell’s timeout with 30 seconds left, New York deserves a lot of the credit. They drove down the field with under a minute left and kicked a field goal with no time left on the clock.

Many could argue that the Seahawks vs. Saints game was the most exciting, but this could be somewhat of a parody. Give some credit to Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks, but also give some credit, or lack thereof, to the many mistakes made throughout the game by New Orleans.

On another note, the Ravens travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers. Last time they were up there, Joe Flacco commandeered a game-winning drive to steal one from the Black and Gold. Let’s hope they can do it again!
