These past few weeks have been wild! Speaking of wild, we are going to talk about the various wild card scenarios in both the AFC & NFC.
AFC: Assuming these teams win their divisions: Jets, Ravens, Chiefs, and Colts. The wild card contenders are the Steelers, Patriots, Jaguars and Chargers. The three teams with a lot of playoff experience are the ones that I give the most credence to. There are only 2 spots, however, and I wonder about San Diego's ability to finish down the stretch.
AFC WILD CARD WINNERS: STEELERS & PATRIOTS
NFC: Assuming these teams win their divisions: Eagles, Falcons, Packers and Seahawks. The wild card contenders are the Bears, Saints, Rams and Giants. Unfortunately, St. Louis is axed because they need a stronger record. The Giants need to win divisional games, which is tough in the NFC East.
