Tom Brady
Tom Brady leads his team to a win over the Colts to keep the Patriots undefeated.

Colts Vs. Patriots
INDIANAPOLIS (7-1) vs. NEW ENGLAND (9-0)
The battle between the Colts and the Patriots, the only two undefeated teams, was just as great and exciting as everyone thought it would be. The Patriots won, 24-20, after a stunning comeback in the 4th quarter. The Colts and Peyton Manning were leading in the 4th, up by 10 points, when Tom Brady led the Patriots on an attack that resulted in 2 TDs and the victory! Both teams' defenses played well all game and had a huge impact from the first play till the last.
STAND-OUT PLAYERS:

Colts: QB Peyton Manning completed 16 of 27 passes for 225 yards. Peyton had 2 TDs, including one he ran in from 1 yard out and he also had 1 interception.

Reggie Wayne had 62 yards receiving and Joseph Addai ended the day with 112 yards rushing, 114 yards receiving and scored 1 TD.

Patriots: QB Tom Brady completed 21 of 32 passes for a total of 255 yards, 14 yards rushing and 3 TDs! Tom also tossed 2 interceptions.

Randy Moss racked up 145 yards receiving and 1 TD and Wes Welker had 38 yards receiving and also scored 1 TD.


GOOD 'D'

At the end of the 4th quarter, Patriots linebacker Roosevelt Colvin recovered a fumble by Peyton Manning and that basically sealed the win for the Patriots!


TERRIFIC TOM

During this game, the Pats' QB Tom Brady broke an NFL record that was previously held by Colts QB Peyton Manning! Tom has now thrown at least 3 TDs in each of the first 9 games this season.
Browns Vs. Seahawks
CLEVELAND (5-3) vs. SEATTLE (4-4)
The Browns squeaked by the Seahawks on a field goal in OT, winning 33-30. It was a seesaw game where both QBs put up big numbers!
Jamal Lewis
Jamal Lewis scores 4 TDs to help the Browns get the win in a close game against the Seahawks.
STAND-OUT PLAYERS:

Browns: QB Derek Anderson completed 29 of 48 for a total of 364 yards. He had 21 yards rushing, but also tossed 1 interception.

Jamal Lewis rushed for 37 yards, 4 rushing TDs and had 67 yards receiving!!

Kellen Winslow racked up 125 yards receiving.

Seahawks: QB Matt Hasselbeck completed 30 of 47 for 318 yards, 2 TDS and 17 yards rushing. Matt also tossed 1 interception.

In the air, Bobby Engram racked up 139 yards receiving and had 1 TD and D.J. Hackett had 58 yards receiving and scored 1 TD.


NICE KICK

Cleveland's kicker, Phil Dawson, nailed a 25-yard field goal in OT to win the game for the Browns. This was the 9th time in his career that Phil kicked a winning field goal! Excellent foot, Phil!


WHAT A RUN!

The Browns' WR Nate Burleson returned a punt 94 yards for a TD! That is a franchise record.
Adrian Peterson
Adrian Peterson put the Vikings on his back and carried them to a win over the Chargers with an unbelievable performance.

Vikings Vs. Chargers
MINNEAPOLIS (3-5) vs. SAN DIEGO (4-4)
The Vikings trounced the Chargers, 35-17, in a game that had a few stand-out performances. This was a record setting day for Vikings RB Adrian Peterson against a Chargers team that just could not stop him. The Vikings looked hot and the Chargers looked like they really needed to be... recharged.
STAND-OUT PLAYERS:

Vikings: Brooks Bollinger completed 7 of 10 passes for 95 yards and 1 TD.

Adrian Peterson rushed for 296 yards, had 19 yards receiving and scored 3 TDs!!

Chester Taylor rushed for 60 yards, totaled 23 yards receiving and scored 1 TD.

In the air, Sidney Rice racked up 66 yards receiving and 1 TD.

Chargers: QB Philip Rivers completed 19 of 42 for 197 yards. Philip also tossed 1 interception.

LaDainian Tomlinson carried the ball for 40 yards, had 37 yards receiving and scored 1 TD.


AMAZING ADRIAN!

The Vikings rookie RB, Adrian Peterson set the single-game NFL record by rushing for 296 yards!! He topped Jamal Lewis's record of 295 yards set in 2003. Congrats Adrian!


ANOTHER VIKING RECORD

The Vikings set a club record for the most total rushing yards in one game with 378!


RECORD RUN BACK!

Antonio Cromartie, the Chargers cornerback, caught a missed Vikings field goal and ran the ball back 109 yards for a TD AND a new NFL record! What a run! Way to go, Antonio!
Redskins Vs. Jets
WASHINGTON (5-3) vs. NEW YORK (1-8)
The Redskins and Jets played a close game that went into overtime. The Redkins won, 23-20, on a field goal off the foot of Shaun Suisham. This win was a boost to the resurging Redskins and a blow to the Jets who are having serious trouble getting any wins this season.

Redskins kicker Shaun Suisham boots a 46-yard field goal in overtime to give his team a narrow victory over the Jets.

STAND-OUT PLAYERS:

Redskins: QB Jason Campbell completed 12 of 23 passes for a total of 142, had 31 yards rushing, but tossed 1 interception.

Clinton Portis rushed for 196 yards and scored 1 TD!

Chris Cooley racked up 58 yards receiving.

Jets: QB Kellen Clemens completed 23 of 42 for 226 yards, with 48 yards rushing and 1 TD.

Thomas Jones rushed for 49 yards, had 16 yards receiving and Jerricho Cotchery ended up with 90 yards receiving.


GREAT FOOT

Shaun Suisham, the Redskins kicker, nailed a 46-yard field goal in OT to win the game for the Redskins!! That kick capped a Redskins comeback, after being down 17-3 in the 2nd quarter.


AMAZING 'D'

David Harris, the Jets LB, was in on 24 tackles during the game -- 20 on his own!! Nice going, David!!
Brett Favre
Brett Favre works it through the air to help the Packers beat the Chiefs.

Packers Vs. Chiefs
GREEN BAY (7-1) VS. KANSAS CITY (4-4)
The Packers added another W and are now 7-1, as they beat the Chiefs, 33-22, in a very physical game. Packers QB Brett Favre played phenomenally and led his team with the confidence and amazing skill of a veteran.
STAND-OUT PLAYERS:

Packers: QB Brett Favre completed 24 of 34 for a total of 360 yards and 2 TDs! Brett also tossed 2 interceptions.

Donald Driver racked up 99 yards receiving and Greg Jennings had 85 yards receiving and scored 2 TDs!

Chiefs: QB Damon Huard completed 19 of 32 passes for 213 yards and 2 TDs. Damon also tossed 2 interceptions.

Larry Johnson had 53 yards rushing, 42 yards receiving and scored 2 TDs and Tony Gonzalez totaled 109 yards receiving and 1 TD.

GREAT 'D' AND GREAT RUN!

With 59 seconds left in the game Charles Woodson, the Packers cornerback, intercepted a pass and ran it 46 yards for a TD that assured the Packers a victory! Way to go, Charles!


BRETT'S BEAT 'EM ALL

With this victory, Packers QB Brett Favre has now beaten every team in the NFL! Amazing!


HIGH SCORING 4th

This game was decided mostly in the 4th quarter! More than half the total points in the game (35!) were scored between both teams in the final quarter.
