Week 5 Prediction: Ravens Soar Over the Bengals!

WOW! There's news coming from all over the place! First, Braylon Edwards signed with the Jets. He should be a big help to Mark Sanchez, as he can create big plays as long as he catches the ball (he had the most drops in the NFL last year). He is a good receiver, though, and if he produces as he did during the '07 season, he will be an asset to the high-flying Jets offense.

Second, Michael Crabtree is (finally) a 49er! He will be a huge help to a hot San Francisco team. Crabtree will be a good target for Shaun Hill.

Now, there will be a big game this week in the AFC North between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. Both are 3-1 and this game will make one team 4-1 and the other 3-2. This game could have playoff implications later in the season. The Ravens have had a balanced team so far this year with a powerful offense and a solid defense. The Bengals have an offense that can score a lot of points and be efficient with the football as well. However, their defense gave up 20 points to the Browns, while the Ravens only gave up 3 points against Cleveland. I predict that the Ravens will win it 24-13. What do do you think?

This week, I will only have one "Hot Pick". This was my weekend MVP. It is . . .

Jared Allen and the Vikings Defense! Although they gave up 23 points to Green Bay, they have been productive all year. Jared Allen is the cornerstone of this defense as he had 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble. They will be putting pressure on almost every quarterback that they play against.

Well, that's all for now. See you next week!
