Vikings RB Adrian Peterson rushed for 212 yards this week, bringing his season total to 1,812 yards.  That is only 293 yards short of the all-time NFL record of 2,105 set by Eric Dickerson in 1984. In the history of the NFL, only 6 players have rushed for over 2,000 yards in a season.

With the Texans and then the Packers up next for Peterson and the Vikings, this will not be an easy feat but record is within reach.  Can AP break the record?
