The 49ers were one of the best defenses in the NFL this season but the Saints had an offense that gained the most yards in NFL history. So who wins a match between the immoveable object and the unstoppable force?

The Saints Drew Brees was unbelievable during the regular season and threw for 466 yards last week in the opening round of the playoffs. WRs Marques Colston and Robert Meachem both had over 100 yards receiving in that game but that doesn't even cover some of Brees most dangerous weapons. Start to consider guys like TE Jimmy Graham RB Darren Sproles and there might be too many receivers to cover.

The 49ers defense will need to create pressure and force mistakes which is definitely right up their alley. During the regular season, they were 7th in sacks (42), second in interceptions (23) and second in forced fumbles (19). On offense, RB Frank Gore should get room to run against a mediocre defense and QB Alex Smith and WR Michael Crabtree need to keep the defense honest with a few big plays.
