2010 NFC Championship: Packers vs Bears

The Packers Win - Next the Super Bowl!

The Green Bay Packers held off a furious rally by the Chicago Bears and won the NFC Championship game 21-14.

As expected, both defenses were tough. The Bears defense held Packers QB Aaron Rodgers to 244 yards, 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

The Packers defense was even tougher, shutting out the Bears until the 4th quarter. The play of the game occurred in the 4th quarter when 337 lb. Packer nose tackle B.J. Raji made a great interception and ran 18 yards for the touchdown, giving the Packers a 21-7 4th quarter lead.

But the Bears would not quit. Led by 3rd string QB Caleb Hanie, the Bears cut the lead to 21-14 and were driving for the potential tying score late in the 4th quarter. Packer defensive back Sam Shields, however, made his second interception of the game with less than a minute remaining and the game was over.

The NFC Champion Green Bay Packers are headed to the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 6. Don't miss it!
