The Best Division In The NFL

There are many divisions in the league that are rising stars, many that have one or two great teams, and a few that are a mixture of both. But there is only one division that really stands out-the NFC North. The NFC North consists of the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions.

In 2011 all but one team had at least a .500 record, and in 2012 all but one team had a record north of that. The past two MVP awards have been awarded to players in this division- Green Bay Packer’s Aaron Rodgers and Minnesota Viking’s Adrian Peterson. In 2011, Rodgers set an NFL record leading the league with a passer rating of 122.1.

When it comes to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Bears have a NFL franchise record of 26 players and the Packers are second with 21 players. This division has featured many great quarterbacks, including The Green Bay Packers' Bart Starr, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, the Vikings' Fran Tarkenton and Brett Favre (again), the Lions' Matthew Stafford, and the Bears' Jay Cutler. There are also the running backs to think about, most notably the Detroit Lions' Barry Sanders, The Chicago Bears' Walter Payton, and the Minnesota Vikings' Adrian Peterson.

If you like high-scoring, offensive football, watch the NFC North.
