Miami seems to underachieve every season.  On paper, this team looks like a great group but something just doesn't click.  This offseason has already given them a lot of good to look forward to and they still have 11 picks in the NFL Draft to get some young talent.

  • - Rookie QB Ryan Tannehill showed a strong arm and plenty of potential
  • - DT Randy Starks was named to play in the Pro Bowl
  • - Free agent signings of WR Mike Wallace, TE Dustin Keller, and LB Dannell Ellerbe

 

The Bad:

 

  • - They had the 27th ranked offense
    • - They went 2-6 in road games
  • - Lost T Jake Long and RB Reggie Bush in free agency

 

The Future:

 

  • - Draft Position #12: DB Xavier Rhodes, OT Lane Johnson
  • - Free Agent Targets: DE Elvis Dumervil and DB Brent Grimes
  • - Trade: RB Daniel Thomas––the former 2nd round pick has underachieved thus far and has been passed by Lamar Miller on the depth chart
