Team Report Cards: Colts Hope Good Luck Continues

2012 Record: 11-5

Grade: A-

The Good:

  • - QB Andrew Luck was everything one could hope for on his way to becoming Rookie of the Year.
  • - The Colts went from 2-14 to making the playoffs with a 11-5 record!
  • - As Luck’s “go-to guy,” WR Reggie Wayne racked up 1,355 receiving yards.

The Bad:

    • - Ranked 26th in total defense, mostly due to their inability to stop opponents' rushing attacks.
    • - They also had one of worst defense in forcing turnovers with just 15.
  • - RB Vick Ballard led the team in rushing with just 810 yards on a 3.9 per carry average.

The Future:

  • - Draft Positions #24: DL Dante Jones or RB Eddie Lacy
    • - Free Agent Acquisitions: WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, OT Gosder Cherilus, and G Donald Thomas
  • - Trade: If another team wanted to take their pick, they could likely add some quality players in the 2nd round.
