The Superdome is the greatest football stadium ever! More Superbowls have been played in the Superdome, and at Tulane Stadium than any other team. But what really makes this stadium special is Hurricane Katrina. The terrible hurricane hit New Orleans harder than anywhere else. Many people from New Orleans stayed in the Superdome during the hurricane. It suffered serious damage from it. The Saints organization and the people of New Orleans all teamed up, and worked together to rebuild the Superdome.  I can't explain how much excitement and happiness there was from all the team members, fans, and community. The Saints opened up in their 3rd game against the Falcons, and won the game 23-3 with 70,003 in attendance.  The team then went on to their first successful season by reaching the NFC Championship. Geaux Saints! Geaux Superdome!
