Super Bowl Champ Seahawks!

The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl XLVIII champions!  In dominant fashion they vanquished the Denver Broncos, 43-8.

The Seahawks "Legion of Boom" defense rattled Peyton Manning and the Denver offense right from the get go, getting a safety on the very first play of the game for a 2-0 lead.

From there the Seattle defense only got better, forcing four turnovers on the night.  The key play came in the second quarter, when linebacker Malcolm Smith picked off a Manning pass and ran 63 yards for a touchdown and a 22-0 lead going into halftime.

Any chance the Broncos had for a second half comeback was stuffed on the kickoff, as Seattle's Percy Harvin busted an 87-yard return for a touchdown and a 29-0 lead.

Seattle WR Jermaine Kearse broke four tackles on an awesome 23-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson, and the lead grew to 36-0.

The record setting Denver offense finally scored at the end of the third quarter, when Peyton Manning hit Demaryius Thomas to get the Broncos on the board, 43-8.

That's how dominant the Seattle defense was.  Peyton Manning and the Denver offense were number one in league, setting records for yards gained and touchdowns, yet could not score for three full quarters.

Congratulations to the Super Bowl XLVIII Champion Seattle Seahawks!

Is the Seattle Seahawks defense the greatest ever?
