The Carolina Panthers (my favorite team) should have a pretty good season this year. With a pretty easy schedule (toughest games against Patriots and Eagles). Carolina should be a playoff team. I predict that they will go 12-4 with losses to the Eagles, Patriots, Falcons (away), and Redskins. The Panthers should be division winners and most likely be the #2 team in the NFC. I also think that they will make it to the Super Bowl.
My predictions for the Super Bowl are the Carolina Panthers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Carolina has a monster defense and opposing teams can't control both Steve Smith and DeAngelo Williams. Jacksonville also has an excellent young running back in Maurice Jones-Drew, and with the addition of veteran wide reciever Torry Holt, less eyes will be on him. The Jaguars also have a pretty good defense, but Mo-Jo is the reason I'm picking them. The Panthers should win 24-14.
The Buffalo Bills are my surprise pick for the AFC. T.O. is a very talented veteran reciever that can help some of the younger guys improve their game (if his ego doesn't get in the way.) He still has what it takes to help the Bills make the playoffs. They won't be division winners (because of New England,) but a wild card is in sight. For the NFC, the Washington Redskins will make the playoffs this year (as a wild card.) Albert Haynesworth will be a huge (literally) key for their defense. Clinton Portis is back at running back, and if Jason Campbell can control his arm, Santana Moss can get the deep ball every time.
