QB Matt Schaub is in the silver and black!  The Oakland Raiders got him from the Houston Texans for a sixth-round pick in the 2014.

The Raiders desperately need a great QB and a veteran leader, and Schaub is that guy.  Schaub has three 4,000+ yard seasons under his belt and has thrown for 24,254 yards and 130 TDs in his ten year NFL career.

The move suggests that the Texans will indeed draft a QB with the first pick of the NFL Draft on May 22nd.  It’s been rumored they are deciding between Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville) and Blake Bortles (USF).

The Texans also announced the signing of veteran QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.  He will likely serve as a mentor for whichever rookie play-caller they decide to draft.

Who got the better end of this deal?
