Imagine former Clemson University WR Sammy Watkins sprinting down the field, going for a long bomb for YOUR TEAM.
That would be awesome, right? Sammy's got size, speed and agility. He oozes big-play potential!
NFL.com analyst Mike Mayock calls Watkins one of the best wide receivers he has seen on tape in the last decade.
Wow!
But is there a chance that Sammy is overrated? It’s not like all first round WRs make it big in the NFL.
Watkins caught close to 60% of his balls on screen passes in college, and big, bad NFL defenses won't let him do that too often. Can he make the adjustments needed to be a featured target within a structured offense?
What do you think? Will Sammy streak to stardom, or is Watkins headed for a washout?
