Not many people can say they have done have things that I have experienced in the past week or so. Today was the most incredible day of entire life. When I was standing on the field, it felt like there were a million phones in my body that were vibrating at once. It was so great to see most of my heroes three feet away from me warming up. It was weird walking through the tunnel onto the field hearing people in the crowd say "Yay Homer City, Go Sam Kimmel!" Then came the most nerve-wracking moment of my life thus far; running the ball onto the field of Super Bowl XLIII. Right after that, I went up to my great seats at the corner of the Steelers endzone. It was the best game I have ever watched, seeing the Steelers trailing towards the end of the fourth quarter by three. Then, hearing possibilities of overtime made me nervous because I did not want the outcome of the game to be depended on the flip of a coin. I wanted it to be decided in the last minute and one second that was left of the game. The Steelers did what they have done all season, which was dominate the last possession of the game. Pittsburgh went on to win with a touchdown from Big Ben to Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP). As you can tell by the score, 27-23, it was a great game to watch and experience. I really want to thank the National Football League, NFL PLAY 60, Jerome Bettis, and Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Earn Your Stripes for giving me this great experience that came with many opportunities that I will never forget. I have so much energy, time to sleep it off thank-you!
Thank-you
Sam K
