1. As a high school senior, Ball rushed for 2,187 yards and 41 touchdowns. He was named first-team all-state, all-metro, all-district and all-conference.

2. In 2011, he was one of the 5 finalists for the Heisman Trophy, but lost to Robert Griffith.

3. After his senior year at Wisconsin, Ball won the Doak Walker Award that is awarded to the nation's top running back. 

4. Ball currently holds the NCAA Division I record for most career rushing touchdowns with 77, and the most career total touchdowns with 83.

5. Ball was born in Wentzville, Missouri.
