1. During his senior year at Miramar High School in Florida, he led the team to the state 6A Semifinals while throwing for 3,089 yards and 30 touchdowns.


2. He smashed virtually every West Virginia passing record, finishing his career as the all-time leader in passing yards (11,662), completions (1,465), and passing touchdowns (98). 


3. In the 70–63 victory over Baylor, he threw for 656 yards and 8 TDs with 45 completions (all three Mountaineer records), and only six incompletions.


4. In high school, Geno wrote poetry, painted, acted and participated in chess tournaments. 


5. Recently signed a management contract with Jay-Z’s sports agency, Roc Nation.
