Rookie QB Matthew Stafford got his first win as he led the Lions to their first win since 2007. Stafford threw for 241 yards with 1 touchdown. He also added 23 yards rushing. Lions WR Bryant Johnson grabbed 4 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown to lead the Lions receivers and RB Kevin Smith contributed 101 yards rushing. Redskins WR Santana Moss had a big day with 178 yards receiving and a touchdown but it wasn't enough to keep the Lions from taking their long awaited win.
