Both teams came in to this game fired up. But the Kansas City Chiefs cooled off sooner than the Ravens. Kansas wanted to make a statement and came out running the ball against the 5th ranked run defense in the league. And it looked as if they may have found a chink in the armor when Jamaal Charles broke for an incredible 41 yard touchdown run. But that would be the only touchdown the Kansas City Chiefs would make all day. Instead The Ravens would force Kansas to make the mistakes, FIVE turnovers, three interceptions coming form Mat Cassel. On Offense ,The Ravens were able to control the clock with the run and were destroying any of The Chiefs blitz package with crossing routes to Boldin. Eventually, The Chiefs defense became tired and couldn't do anything to stop The Ravens, especially late in the game when Baltimore was able to hang on to the ball for 10 minutes and score. |
