RAVENS READY TO ROCK MOTOR CITY!

Hello, football fans! It's KC here again. I guess you all know the drill by now, so what are we waiting for? Here we go...

Below are my hot picks this week and I will give you a few players that I think are safe to start every week because we're getting deeper into the season (and that's just because I don't like to pick the same players over and over and over again).

Anyway...here are my hot picks:

QB: Vince Young! He had 241 yards and 2 touchdowns in the air against a very tough Colts defense. He has come around very well since becoming the starting QB in Tennessee. The Titans play the Rams this week.

Other QBs: Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Kurt Warner, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning.

RB: Ray Rice! He had 54 yards on the ground and 3 catches for 17 yards. While he may not be rushing for 150 yards every game, he's averaging the fourth-best score in the NFLRUSH fantasy among running backs and that works for me. This Raven has been flying under the radar too long!

Other RBs: Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Jonathan Stewart, DeAngelo Williams, Maurice Jones-Drew.

WR/TE: Jason Witten! He had 14 catches for 156 yards! This guy is one of Tony Romo's favorite targets! I think he's one of the best tight ends in the league.

Other WRs/TEs: Donald Driver (WR), Wes Welker (WR), Antonio Gates (TE), Vernon Davis (TE), Randy Moss (WR), Miles Austin (WR), Larry Fitzgerald (WR).

The Ravens play the Lions this week in a game that could make or break Baltimore. Detroit, meanwhile, is looking to play the role of spoiler. The Lions are starting Daunte Culpepper this week, as Matthew Stafford is out with an injured shoulder. Baltimore is coming off a tough loss to Green Bay and is looking to stay in the playoff hunt. They are going to need every game that they can get so they can make it to the postseason. The Ravens need a convincing win and I think now is the time for them to shine. I think the final score will be "Ravens 30 Lions 17"

Speaking of Green Bay, I would have to say that they have been the biggest surprise this year. A team that didn't even have a winning record last year looks poised to take a wild card spot or, if Minnesota continues to perform like they did last week against the Cardinals, could even take a shot at the division.

Well, that's all for now.

Helmets on, let's go!
