There are many okay Quarterbacks in the NFL, but not many have been great and there have been some shake-ups already. I'm going to talk about some of the teams that need their Quarterbacks to play better. So far in the season, I think the Minnesota Vikings desperately need one of their Quarterbacks to play better. Christian Ponder and Matt Cassel are both okay, but I think by the end of the season Christian Ponder will keep the job. The past years for Matt Cassel when he was with the Kansas City Chiefs were not good. He threw a lot of interceptions and didn't get the ball to open receivers. Even though Matt Cassel did pretty good last week, I don't think it will be enough to take over the starting job. Christian Ponder did pretty good the week before with two rushing touchdowns giving the Vikings an extra running threat to their game from the Quarterback position.
I think Josh Freeman has the potential inside of him to be a really great Quarterback. I don't think Mike Glennon showed very much from the ONE WEEK that he played, but the Buccaneers are going with him anyway and released Josh Freeman today. I think Josh Freeman could go to the St. Louis Rams or the Jacksonville Jaguars and possibly win the starting job. Sam Bradford still hasn't played well, and the Jaguars have much less talent than Freeman. I would say he should go to Jacksonville, because he could quickly make the Jaguars a better team. Maurice Jones-Drew and Freeman together in the backfield could make a very nice offensive attack for the Jaguars.
Seeing where Josh Freeman goes and who wins the starting job in Minnesota is going be a really interesting thing to me.
