Patriots Ride Big 3 to Super Bowl

The Patriots are a unique team and always have been. While many teams rely on balance, the Patriots stake their success on pure offense. More specifically they rely on a powerful passing attack with three superstars leading the way: QB Tom Brady, WR Wes Welker, and TE Rob Gronkowski. This big three can be enough to beat any team.

QB Tom Brady is one of the best players ever and this season was no different when he threw for 5,235 yards, which is the second-most ever.  His 39 passing TDs were good for 4th in the league this season.

WR Wes Welker is the picture of reliability. Whenever Brady needs to complete a key pass it's usually Welker on the receiving end. He ended the regular season with 122 completions, the most in the NFL and 1,569 receiving yards, the second most in the league. He also caught 9 TDs for good measure.

TE Rob Gronkowski had a breakout season with 90 receptions, good enough for 5th in the NFL. "Gronk" seemed to really like the end zone too, finding it for 17 TDs, the most in the league. It was also the most ever by any TE in NFL history.

Would you rather have the Patriots Big 3 or the Giants balance?
