Now that the 2011 NFL Combine is finally over, here are my predictions for the top five draft picks in the 2011 NFL Draft.
1. Carolina Panthers - Patrick Peterson - CB LSU: Other options at the number one spot could be quarterbacks Cam Newton and Blaine Gabbert, but Peterson has too much talent for the Panthers to pass on him.
2. Denver Broncos - Marcell Dareus - DT Alabama: The Broncos need to start preparing their defense for the future and Dareus is a tough defensive lineman who could get to the quarterback.
3. Buffalo Bills - Cam Newton - QB Auburn: Newton, the starting QB for the 2011 National Champion Auburn Tigers and the 2011 Heisman winner has great talent and size. I think the Bills need a young player to provide a spark to their offense.
4. Cincinnati Bengals - AJ Green - WR Georgia: Green has great size and is the type of receiver who can score a touchdown every game. Another option for the Bengals could be drafting a QB like Blaine Gabbert
5. Arizona Cardinals - Blaine Gabbert - QB Missouri: The Cardinals need a QB that can make accurate throws to WR Larry Fitzgerald. Gabbert has good accuracy and could significantly improve the Cardinals' offense.
