The Seattle Seahawks and their passionate home crowd, aka “the 12th man,” overpowered the visiting San Francisco 49ers in an impressive 29-3 divisional victory.
Defense was the name of the game as neither team was able to score a TD in the first half. That all changed when Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch rumbled for a 14-yard TD in the 3rd quarter. Lynch also scored on a 7-yard pass from QB Russell Wilson and 2-yard run near the end of the game.
49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, who was pressured the entire game, led the team with 87 rushing yards but passed for a mere 127 yards and was picked-off twice.
