One week ago the Miami Doplphins chose to start Ryan Tannehill over Matt Moore. While many fans are happy with that decision, I disagree.

Ryan Tannehill was a wide reciever in college and then switched to quarterback. He needs time to learn behind the veteran Matt Moore. Last year Moore was 6-3 as a starter after Chad Henne got hurt, and the Dolphins got off to an 0-7 start.

After trading away Brandon Marshall and cutting Chad Johnson, the Dolphins don't look to be much better this year. Why throw Ryan Tannehill under the bus when he is so young and has so much potential? Yes Joe Philbin is a first year coach, so both quarterbacks are learning a new system, but this is the NFL and it's different than college. Give Ryan some time, let the Dolphins settle in and then put him in.

Ryan Tannehill will be a great quarterback, just not now!
