Nnamdi Asomugha

The experience in New York was excellent.  This was the first time I got the opportunity to visit New York. I was excited to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge on television on a show called “Making the Band,” I never thought that day would come. My favorite part was going to Times Square.  It was cool seeing all the screens on the buildings and the lights glowing on the whole street at night time.  You see Times Square all the time on television, but when you are there it is so big!

Another fun experience I had was going to 106 & Park, because I watch the show all the time on television and it was so crazy to be apart of the loudest audience on television. I got the chance to be on television and hear my friends say, “Louis I saw somebody look just like you on 106 & Park.” My parents also recorded the show and it made me feel great to watch the show and see myself on live television.

The best time I had out there was meeting our former president Mr. Bill Clinton who served our country. I got the chance to stand in his office and hear him explain to us what his picture on the wall meant to him. He also gave us advice on education and how he got to where he’s at now. That’s why I still thank Nnamdi Asomugha till this day for giving me this opportunity to go to New York. I’m glad I went on this trip because I got a better vision of what I want to be in life.  I’m proud to tell someone about the experience that I received from going on this trip.
