There are many gifted players in the NFL, but if I had to choose one player to be my favorite, I would say Drew Brees is my favorite.

Drew Brees is a talented player. He went to college at Purdue. He was later drafted by the San Diego Chargers. Drew Brees had gotten injured and had a bad year, so the Chargers felt they didn’t need him any more when Philip Rivers came along. That was a bad decision.

In 2010 Drew Brees helped lead the New Orleans Saints to win their first Super Bowl.  Just recently, Drew Brees became the first quarterback in NFL history to pass for 5000+ yards in 3 seasons. Drew Brees has been my role model ever since I started watching him play.

In 2005, Drew Brees heard about Hurricane Katrina and all the damage it caused New Orleans including damage to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome (the stadium where the New Orleans Saints play in). He came down to New Orleans, Louisiana and helped with repairing the city.

Drew Brees now lives in New Orleans with his wife and his three sons. After the Saints won the Super Bowl, Drew Brees was named MVP and he also was on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine. Clearly, you can easily see why Drew Brees is my favorite player.
