My most memorable play of 2012 was when Jacoby Jones returned the opening kickoff of the second half of the Super Bowl 108 yards for a touchdown. When this happened, the Ravens became the first team to have two kickoff returns for a touchdown in their Super Bowl history. The first being Jermaine Lewis' in 2000.

With this play, Jacoby set the post-season record for longest kickoff return. Previously, the record was 102 yards, as done by Eric Weems of the Atlanta Falcons in 2010. Jacoby also became only the second player in NFL history to have two 50+ yard touchdowns in one Super Bowl. The first was the Washington Redskins' Ricky Sanders back in '88.

Jacoby had two kickoff returns in the 2012 regular season, a 105 yarder against the Oakland Raiders, and a 108 yarder against the Dallas Cowboys.

The amazing strategy this play took and the amount of history it made is why it is my most memorable play of 2012.
