Just before kickoff at LP Field Sunday, two Tennessee boys were honored as the 12th Titan: Connor and Cayden Long.
The brothers were recently named Sports Illustrated's Sports Kids of the Year, and were featured on the magazine's cover. Connor has competed in several triathalons -- and has brought his brother Cayden along with him.
Cayden has cerebral palsy and can't walk or speak. So, through every course, they compete side by side. Connor swims, pulls and pushes Cayden as they compete as a team. He says he doesn't want Cayden to feel left out.
The Titans recognized the two boys at the team's 12th Titan on Sunday and they got the VIP treatment, going onto the field and watching the game in a private box, and even getting personalized jerseys.
Connor would also like to start his own non-profit, to raise money for kids with disabilities so they can do the same and he and Cayden. He said it's not about winning, it's just to hang out with his brother.
