The Detroit Lions vs. the Minnesota Vikings was definitely a great game to watch at least for the first half. The Lions did a good job of containing Adrian Peterson for most of the game, but it wasn't enough in the end. The Lions are standing behind their decision to go with Matthew Stafford. He is still forcing throws when he didn't need too. The Lions also need to do a better job of protecting the quarterback. I was really impressed with Kevin Smith this week. Let's see how the Lions will do against the Redskins in their next game?? I'm hoping the Lions will win at least four games this season.
It was another exciting week in the NFL. My favorite game of Week 2 was the Bears vs. the Steelers. I thought this was a huge upset. Johnny Knox, Rookie WR was my MVP. He had six receptions including a TD!
Let's look ahead to this week. If I put together a fantasy team based on last week's playing, I would pick Kurt Warner! He set a record for pass completion percentage in a game. He was on my favs list in my preseason predictions! Can he take the Cardinals to another Super Bowl? I would also pick LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, San Diego Chargers. Ray Lewis, LB, Baltimore Ravens would also be on my fantasy team. He played great defense against San Diego with a game ending tackle.
