Lions Host Meet Up & Eat Up

Usually it's good advice to avoid meeting hungry Lions!

But not in this case.

The Detroit Lions have an awesome summer program called "Meet Up & Eat Up" that teaches healthy eating to kids in Southeast Michigan. Totally cool.

In addition to nutrition, everyone got their bodies moving. Lions players, alumni and mascot Roary joined Playworks Detroit in NFL PLAY 60 activities including Four Square, Kick Ball, Red Rover and jump rope. Fun!

Lions alumni included Scott Conover, Ron Rice and Tim Walton, along with current Lions linebacker Brandon Hepburn.

Along with their partners, the Detroit Lions will host six more Meet Up & Eat Up events at various locations throughout the remaining summer season and will continue into the fall.

Which of these NFL PLAY 60 activities do you like best?
