The Detroit Lions ended a nine-year Thanksgiving Day losing streak in dominant fashion as they routed the Green Bay Packers, 40-10.

After a shaky start that saw the Lions make three turnovers, Matthew Stafford threw for 330 yards and connected on three touchdown passes, including one to Calvin Johnson, to help Detroit score 37 straight points.

Matt Flynn, facing the opponent of his memorable 480 yards and six touchdowns game, didn't fare nearly as well today.  He finished the day with 139 yards with an interception and two fumbles.

The Detroit vs Green Bay Thanksgiving Day tradition of late has been the Packers beating the Lions on Thanksgiving. Does this game mark a new Thanksgiving tradition?
