My favorite team is looking pretty good this year! The Chiefs have won every game of the season. They have a league-high 36 sacks, which is an average of 4.5 sacks per game. If they keep that going, they'll end the season with around 72 sacks! The Chiefs have only allowed 98 points all season, which makes an average of allowing only 12.25 points per game.
They're not ALL good, though. Though Alex Smith has definitely brought some greatness to the team, but that can't erase the fact that he went three straight games without a touchdown pass. I think that if they give Alex Smith some more short passes (short meaning 5-9 yards), then he will succeed very well. The MVP (or more preciscely, the Co-MVPs) for the Chiefs would have to be Tamba Hali and Justin Houston. Tamba Hali has 26 tackles, 9.0 sacks, and an interception on the season. Justin Houston has 29 tackles and 11.0 sacks on the season. I think that's a good MVP case for midseason.
The fan in me says the Chiefs are going to go 16-0 and make all the way to the Super Bowl and win it, but the NFL Reporter in me says that the Chiefs will be 13-3 or 14-2, and definitely make the playoffs.
