The most recent and most highly discussed move in the NFL has gotten everyone's heads turning towards the Browns and the Colts. In this blockbuster move Trent Richardson has been dealt to Indianapolis in exchange for the Colts' 2014 1st round draft pick. This has everyone buzzing over the debate of who came out on the better side of this deal, and I'm ready to voice my opinion.

Now many of you will think that this is a no-brainer: the Colts got the better deal, but do not jump to conclusions, as there are many ways that the Browns can benefit from this trade as well. Although the Browns did lose their franchise player and their #1 running back, the burden of carrying Cleveland was just too much for Richardson alone. Trent Richardson was virtually the Browns' only weapon on offense, so defenses were able to limit him by keying in on him. This is exactly why they had to make this move. The Browns are in a full rebulding stage, and a player like Richardson is only wasted when he has so little help around him, so the Browns used his trade value to grab the Colts' 1st round pick. This could be extremely beneficial to the Browns as now they have 2 picks in the 1st round for 2014, and that means they could get what they are really looking for: a franchise quarterback.

Bottom Line: The Browns did lose a crucial all-pro caliber running back, however, the first round pick they received is a big part of their rebuild, and could greatly help them in the long run.

Now as for the Colts in this trade, there is no question that this helps their team substantially. Already a great playoff contender without Richardson, the Colts become even more powerful with this acquisition, as their offense is bolstered in a big way. With Vick Ballard out for the season, the Colts needed a running back, and who better for the job than Trent Richardson. Not only does he greatly bolster their rushing attack, but he takes the pressure off quarterback Andrew Luck, which could lead to even greater success in the passing game.

Bottom Line: The Colts have just received the player who could push them over the edge into becoming one of the best, if not the best, team in the AFC. Yes, they did lose great a draft pick, but they got Richardson, and their focus is the Super Bowl, which just might be where they'll go.

How would you grade this trade for both teams? Let us know in the comments who will benefit more from this blockbuster deal!
