On Sunday night, the Raiders played against the Chargers on Thursday Night Football Special Edition. The thing is, it started at 11:35 eastern time, and it went into REALLY early Monday morning for almost every time zone in America. I don't think that's a good idea. For one thing, the players will be tired by then, and probably won't play too well. Also, fans probably won't like it because they have to stay up even later to watch their team than normal. As for the coaches, they'll probably just not want to be coaching a football team at midnight. And the officials will be too tired to pay as close attention as they usually do. This is why I think it is a bad idea to play football that late.
