The Cowboys and Lions game had an amazing ending with Matthew Stafford and the Lions getting a touchdown out of no where. I think a lot of people, including me, were surprised about it. I think that the Cowboys defense should have been ready with the play. I would say that the Cowboys couldn't have helped out to much because the quarterback surprised them and can run through them. The last second drive down the field by the Lions proved that they have an effective offense but it took a trick play to win the game. Matthew Stafford is definitely one of the bright, young, athletic quarterbacks that we are seeing in the NFL. The new type of quarterback moves around more and runs the ball more than quarterbacks used to do. They are not the typical quarterback that relies on passing to get yardage.
The Lions Calvin Johnson is too tall and fast for the Cowboys defensive backs. Reggie Bush helps round out the Lions offense with great running and catching ability.
