Tom Brady vs. the Manning Brothers is always special. While Eli has beaten Brady twice in the Super Bowl (2007, 2011), it seems that Brady has Peyton's number, winning 10 of the 14 times they have met.
Last week, Brady pulled off one of the great comebacks in the NFL. Down 24-0 at halftime Brady rallied his troops to a 34-31 win in OT. All the talk this week is who is the better quarterback. To me it comes down to this: Brady is 10-4 vs Manning and has 3 Super Bowls, Peyton has 1 Super Bowl.
When people talk about great quarterbacks, they mention Montana and Elway before Dan Marino. Why? Because this league is about winning, not just great stats.
Hopefully it won't be the last time we see this matchup, and we will see Brady vs Manning XV in the playoffs. If Peyton can win that game, and the Super Bowl the conversation will be different.
